Condi Rice has garnered the scorn of her Democratic colleagues, not because of what she has accomplished, but because of who and what she is. She is a black American, who is guilty of an unspeakable crime in liberal eyes. Her crime? She does not worship at the altar of the Democratic Party. Condi Rice has committed the unpardonable sin. She has dared to carve out her own political path while black.

Black conservative ping

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)

Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

Speaking as black Republican, I can tell you that it's a line that once you cross it you damn well better make sure that you know what you are doing and are able to fully support your argument as to why you made such a "fateful" decision. If you can't do this then the black masses will have you for lunch. I'm a black school teacher (a double whammy)who openly stated my support for the GOP and had to defend it under intense pressure. What I didnt know was that there were other black Republicans among my colleages, but they kept their political tendencies among thereselves, which is their right. It was not until after November 2 that they pulled me aside in the hall and quietly told me that they too voted for the GOP. Personally, I think it's cowardice to hold a position and not be ready to articulately defend your position based on facts. But just to let you America know, the ranks of black Republicans is definitely growing. We are the generation who can after the Civil Rights Movement. The generation who questioned the welfare state. The generation who questioned the ideology of "the white man is the cause of our ills" (Funny, many thought the white man was the cause of our ills, but many African-Americans rush to put a white Democrate in office.) The generation who questioned the mentality of "the government will solve all our problems." I'm proud of Condi Rice and Colin Powell, not just because they are black--although that's part of it--but I'm prouder of the fact that they came from the dust and look at them now. If these two aren't positive roll models for America's younger generation then who is? Jesse Jackson??!!!

I owe the fact of my Constitutional conservatism to black conservative professor, a poor black kid from Florida who speaks and reads ancient Greek due to his Oxford education. God bless you.

Personally, I think it's cowardice to hold a position and not be ready to articulately defend your position based on facts.

Those who have only recently realized and responded to the screwing the Slave Party has visited upon black America don't necessarily have sufficient command of the facts by which to defend what might then be a visceral decision. Give it time, and turn them onto FreeRepublic!

The generation who questioned the welfare state. The generation who questioned the ideology of "the white man is the cause of our ills" (Funny, many thought the white man was the cause of our ills, but many African-Americans rush to put a white Democrate in office.) The generation who questioned the mentality of "the government will solve all our problems."

The Slave Party has always been about indentured constituency in support of a wealthy elite. They haven't changed since the Civil War, but for adopting government ownership of the means of production instead of private.

If these two aren't positive roll models for America's younger generation then who is?

You can add Jesse Lee Peterson, Shelby Steele, and William Allen (my prof in college) to that list. There are many more.

There isn't a black inner city grandmother raising the illegitimate gang banger children of her drug-abusing daughter who doesn't know that sexual promiscuity, drugs, pornographic media, and the decline of fatherhood in a nuclear family are root causes of her problems. They're just as sick of welfare state as conservatives are. They just don't see a way out and can't afford a cut in public support. That Republicans can't seem to enact a program to get their kids out of that hole mystifies me.

Condi is the DEMONcrats worse fear.
1. Conservative
2. Eloquent
3. Principled
4. Wildly popular in her party
5. Hyper intelligent
6. She is the example that you do not have to be on the
Democrat plantation to attain high public office.
7. Condi may be the one that finally splits a major portion
of the black vote away from the Democrat Party.

They are trying to destroy Condi because she can destroy them. They are in a fight for their life. She may be President in four years. I hope so.
