Congress tried to use supeona power in an effort to save Terri Shiavo's live. They may have supeoned the wrong Shiavo. Michael Shiavo has been given a pass by the legally blind Judge Greer and the main-stream media outlets. If the Supreme Court does not make the effort to answer the many questions pertaining to this case as the previous courts have done, then congress and the President must step in just as they had to during the Slavery issue. I believe Congress must demand that Michael Shiavo be forced to answer at least these questions before he be given the right to proceed with starving Terri Shiavo to death. If we can drag baseball players into a congressional committee and ask them if they shot steroids into their butt, then we can ask Mr. Shiavo what kind of "guardian" he really is.
1) Why did you wait 7 years and after a malpractice lawsuit to mention what you claim is Terri’s wishes?
2) Why did you state on national television that he had Terri’s wedding rings melted down and made into jewelry for himself?
3) Why are you living with and fathering children with another woman who’s mother has a connection with the county sheriff?
4) Why did you fail to file annual guardianship reports in a timely manner?
5) Why are you using Terri’s money which was awarded by a court to be used for her rehabilitation to pay legal fees in an effort to end Terri’s life?
6) Why are you denying Terri the benefit of any assets accrued after the malpractice award which would be equally hers as Michael’s legal spouse?
7) Why are you in an adulterous relationship (which is a misdemeanor under Florida law) with another woman, which ought to disqualify you as a suitable guardian for Terri?
8) Why did you prevent Monsignor Malonowski from visiting Terri, prevent Monsignor Malinowski from administering last rites when her feeding tube was removed in October 2003, and prevent Terri’s blood relatives from placing pictures of religious figures in her room?
9) Why did you deny Terri the therapy that would allow her to re-learn how to eat even though the therapy is considered mandatory by Florida Statute 744.3215, even to those diagnosed with PVS?
10) Why are you denying any any rehabilitative therapy at all?
11) Why did you deny prudent financial management for her property and to be informed how her property is being managed?
12) Why did you not allow Terri to have a working wheelchair for an extended and unnecessarily long period of time?
13) Why did you allow electrodes, which were implanted in Terri’s brain, to not be examined and removed? These implants should have been removed years ago, as they are a source for both infection and hydrocephalus. Hydrocephalus may cause pressure that could suppress cognitive function and be responsible for much of Terri’s condition. If so, there could be a vast improvement in her condition if a shunt were placed. Hydrocephalus could also cause pressure that would flatten the brain and show fluid filled areas on a brain scan.
14) Why did you fail to keep Terri’s family advised of her medical condition? 15) Why did you neglect Guardianship Education, which is a requirement under Florida law?
16) Why were marks found on her arm when she was first administered to the hospital?
17) Why did you state during an interview that Terri's teeth were fine but recently she is missing several teeth?
18) Did you intimidate the workers of Palm Garden of Largo Convalescent Center in Largo, Florida?
19) Did you order the workers of Palm Garden of Largo Convalescent Center in Largo, Florida to issue no antibiotics, no tests, no range of motion therapy, no stimulation, or any other form of rehabilitation?
20) Did you demand that charts showing Terri’s rehabilitation progress be altered or deleted?
21) Did you say “When is she going to die?,” “Has she died yet?” and “When is that bitch gonna die?” “Can’t you do anything to accelerate her death - won’t she ever die?” “Make sure the parents aren’t contacted” “I’m going to be rich” to the workers of Palm Garden of Largo Convalescent Center?
22) Did you demand that the family should not be given information while Terri was at the workers of Palm Garden of Largo Convalescent Center?
23) Did you injected Terri with Regular insulin, which would have resulted in her death had nurse Carla Iyer not provided immediate medical care?
24) Why did you file a petition to prohibit the media from seeing Terri’s neurological examination videotapes or airing the videos to the public after they had been presented to the court as evidence?
25) Why did you file a petition to have Terri cremated immediately after her death? If so why?
26) Did you have anything to do with Carla Iyer’s termination at Palm Garden of Largo Convalescent Center?
27) Did you petition or state that you wanted a gag order on Carla Iyer or any other nurse concerning Terri Shiavo? Why?
28) Were you abusive toward Cindy Shook, whom you dated only a 11/2 after Terri’s collapse?
29) Why did you have Terri’s 2 pet cats euthanized to clear the way for his moving in with Cindy and her pet dog without Terri’s permission?
30) Did you stalk Cindy Shook after your relationship ended?

BTW, also on Hannity and Combes the other day, they interviewed a woman who had been good friends with Terri before the collapse. She claimed that Terri had been planning to leave Michael because he was so controlling.

Right now, she's even more famous than that Michael Jackson "guy".
If all the questions can be answered to satisfaction and there can be proof found that this is what Terri wants, then by all means she should be allowed die. But those questions don't go away just because I pretend they don't exist.
It sure lit a fire under my wife and I to get a living will set up so this cannot happen to us.

yeah the killing the cats is is definately wrong. If something were to happen to my wife, she has a dog i cannot stand, I still couldnt contemplate killing it. Infact I would probably treat it better.
