Liberal Lunatic of the Day (4/9/2005)
Liberal Lunacy ^ | 4/9/2005 | Beckwith

Chris Floyd, of The Moscow Times, writes, "Let's face the facts.  The game is over and we -- the "reality-based community," the believers in genuine democracy and law, the heirs of Jefferson and Madison, Emerson and Thoreau, the toilers and dreamers, all those who seek to rise above the beast within and shape the brutal chaos of existence into something higher, richer and imbued with meaning -- have lost.  The better world we thought had been won out of the blood and horror of history -- a realm of enlightenment that often found its best embodiment in the ideals and aspirations of the American Republic -- is gone.  It's been swallowed by darkness, by ravening greed, by bestial spirits and by willful primitives who now possess overwhelming instruments of power and dominion."

Floyd continues his hallucination with, "A gang of such spirits seized control of the U.S. government by illicit means in 2000 and maintained that control through rampant electoral corruption in 2004.  The re-election of President George W. Bush last November was a deliberately shambolic process that saw massive lockouts of opposition voters; unverifiable returns compiled by easily hackable machines operated by avowed corporate partisans of the ruling party; and vast discrepancies between exit polls and final results.

Floyd's evidence?  "Last month, experts using actual machines and returns from the 2004 election showed Congress how a lone hacker could skew a precinct's results by 100,000 votes without leaving a trace.  More than 40 million votes in 30 states were cast on such computer systems.”

Floyd's conclusion is, "So let's have no illusions about where we are.  Gangsters are in charge, and nothing and no one will be allowed to challenge their dominion.  They are waging aggressive war to cement their position and that of their allies: the energy barons, the arms merchants, the construction and services cartels, the investment bankers.  These power blocs now command monstrous resources and unfathomable profits; they can buy out, buy off or bury any force that opposes them.  Meanwhile, they use the loot of the stolen Republic -- its blood and treasure -- as fuel for their ever-expanding war machine."

Wow!  They must have some good drugs in Moscow, or bad, I'm not sure which.  But it sounds to me like unreality-based Chris Floyd is doing them all.

Floyd cites massive lockouts of opposition voters as evidence of voter fraud, but that never happened.  Not even the Democrats believe that one, except for maybe John Conyres, Maxine Waters and Cynthia McKinney, but they're all nuts anyway.

Floyd alludes to discrepancies between exit polls and final results.  But even before election-day was over, the exit polls were discredited as being manipulated by the polling organizations that had a relationship to the Kerry Campaign.  Warren Mitofsky’s (co-director of National Election Pool) even made the now famous comment, “the Kerry voters were more anxious to participate in our exit polls than the Bush voters.”  All these years of polling and no one ever came across "the anxious exit-poll participant phenomenon" until Election 2004.

Floyd's biggest evidence, that the government was fraudulently seized, is a "what if?"

Floyd speculates that, "a lone hacker could skew a precinct's results by 100,000 votes without leaving a trace."  Well, so what?  Could skew is not the same as did skew, and such a fraud would be immediately uncovered by one of the thousands of representatives from each party that were all over the precincts.  There was not one allegation that such an event occurred except by the moonbats at Democratic Underground and the Daily Kos.

These nutcakes will never let go of these conspiracy theories.  But the federal government should do something to ensure that there is a measurable and manageable ballot system in place for the next general election.  There are a lot of these left-wing lunatics that would like nothing better than to have an excuse to fill the streets.

Sounds like the Clinton administration.

Sounds like the Clinton administration. Chinagate, anyone? A gang of spirits? Well I guess Eleanor Roosevelt's spirit wasn't exactly a 'gang'. But the feel of that certainly bears true for Clinton's time.

Just more standard liberal procedure.

1. Accuse others of doing what YOU are actually doing.

2. Accuse others of doing what YOU wish you could be doing.

In either case, Floyd exposes his idiotic liberal mindset !!! ;-))
