Can we get the Maritimes and Western Canada without having to take the muddled middle (and especially Quebec)?

That would be good, wouldn't it? The Maritimes are cool, but they are fairly fiscally liberal for the record. Socially conservative (Halifax, where I go to school, is the biggest city in the Maritimes and does not allow Sunday shopping) though.
