I cannot begin to describe the stress (physical and emotional) that they are putting themselves through to try to help others. This reminds me of some college kids I know who drove from Illinois to Ohio to help the Kerry campaign the weekend before the election. They were promised places to stay and set roles. They arrived to complete disorganization and chaos...so they turned around and left. These folks convictions are so incredibly shallow and they are led by people whose only depths are measured by how low they will sink.
