I think the lamestream media got the idea to reverse the colors en mass when our side joked about the Commie Red liberals and True Blue Conservatives. Before the 2000 election, only one of the big three networks would use that configuration. Starting in 2000, they all did. We're supposed to beleive it was just a coincidence.
