Thanks for posting this! I heard this when I was delivering the mail (I work for the USPS), and I thought the "Made in France" comments were added by "el Rushbo". Soon, I realized it was in the letter Rush was reading, and it sounded a lot like the kind of stuff my dad (God rest his soul..) and his buddies would do in Korea. He would keep me entertained on the longest road trips with tales of pranks and jokes they would pull. One such tale involved putting beer cans on the end of 105 shells, opening the ends (of the can) with a can opener before shooting it. The scream that came from the shell could be heard as soon as it left the barrel, all the way to the target! He heard later that not only did it scare the H E double toothpicks out of the enemy, but a Colonel and a couple of Majors were asking what the ---- kind of shells were those!
