Out to Lunch or Blinded by Hate? (Response to a disillusioned liberal's comments)

In response to my post titled, The Democrats, the MSM & the Lies that Bind Them, a liberal blogger showed once again how disillusioned the Democrats are. Like many other leftists, this person was once rational. As a matter of fact, I used to visit his blog called Oh!pinion quite frequently, and only recently removed it from my blogroll as it was apparent that he has substituted paranoia, speculation and hyperbole for reasonable debate.....

First let's take a look at his remarks. I believe you'll find that they reek of the same condescension and mulishness that infects so much of today's political debate.

There must be something wrong with a person who thinks that CNN spent 2004 carrying water for the RNC and Bush-Cheney campaign.

He doesn't want to admit who controls CNN. When they went after Dean and Kerry, it was only to protect the kingdom of the "Queen"

I had a person today that was like that. I got so tired of hearing him say that Bush is wrong about the war, I asked him when he worked for the CIA?
He said he never worked for the CIA. I asked him if he was an operative or a directer for NSA. he said no. He said he was not a general in the military or a military adviser.
He just mouthed off like a typical Bush hater with no facts. All he had was what he has heard on CNN and MTV.

I told him he is not an operative or a directer for the CIA, FBI, or the NSA. He is not a top level clearance military expert. He is not even in the military. This man could not even tell me what the branches of government are and he doesn't know the name of his senator.
But he expects me to believe that working a 8 hour day in a cubicle and then going home and watching CNN all night makes him an expert on military strategy and US foreign policy.

They (Liberals) are like robots. They do not think for themselves. Get you marching orders and proceed to whine and cry about the mean old Republicans without really knowing what you are crying about.

They are brainwashed.

There was a caller on the radio the other day, obviously a Lib.), who swore he was speaking the truth because he had read it in the NYT.

That's the thing that really bothers me. You hear these people call in to radio shows saying that they read that more than 100,000 Iraqi civilians have been killed in the war, and so Bush is a bigger killer than Saddam. And as a result, the War is evil. Nevermind that a statistic like that defies all reason. They read it somewhere, so it must be true.

"There must be something wrong with a person who thinks that CNN spent 2004 carrying water for the RNC and Bush-Cheney campaign."

Esp since CNN was forced to admit they were burying Saddam's atrocities in exchange for "access".

"They read it somewhere, so it must be true."

Yup, that was the Lancet study that was discredited because it was found they extapolated their sample group to get 10,000. The Left still uses it, even though they know its bogus. Go figure.
