"Do I have to view porn before I can criticize it? And I've never watched South Park but I know they make fun of religion. Should I not criticize until I've watched a particular episode demeaning the Virgin Mary?"

Well, first I am saying what my ethical standards for criticism. I'm not trying to tell you what to do.

For me, it's fine to generalize - for example to say "porn is bad" or porn should be censored." But that is different than saying "this episode was pornographic", I don't know how you could honestly do that without seeing the episode.

Personally I would not conclude that a particular episode demeaned the Virgin mary without seeing it. I have seen that episode and I found it offensive but did not think it demeaned anyone. I also found to not ctriticize the Virgin mary. I found that it criticized people who overemphasize icons instead of Christ.

Of course one advantage of not actually observing before you criticize is that it's hard for anyone to contradict any thing you say.

>"Rumor Has It," Warner Bros., $11.6 million
>>"Brokeback Mountain" isn't in the top 10

They should have combined
"Brokeback" with "Rumor" and filmed
a story about

two gay cowboys who
both fall in love with Rachel
and both realize

that they are not gay.
Then, turns out she's a werewolf
and the two cowboys

need their cowboy skills
to hunt her down and release
her from the beast curse . . .

Sounds like more festering cultural rot to me. I haven't seen the movie and I won't.

Not one dime for this crap. If it was about money, Hollywood would be turning out wholesome movies for the more mainstream population, not thinly veiled homo porn.

It is all about mainstreaming deviant behaviour. Let them go broke, and good riddance.

1. "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," Buena Vista, $32.8 million.

Gotta love C.S. Lewis at the top of the heap. Bet that drives some of the Hollywierd buggerers crazy!

Hollywood isn't in it for the money in the production of BM, they are in it to push their gay activism. The gay activists are in charge of Hollywood.

The theme of the movie is "Love is a force of nature", which is listed on the BM movie posters and advertising. This is pushing the homosexual genetic ideology.

"He lost his Jack and he lost his family
Taking it from behind!"

Great stuff! I think Jack's the one who "takes it" though.

Put it in perspective, how much money did Lord of the Rings make in two weeks.
