Georgia sided with Soros and as long as funds flowed they "sided". On the other hand, they buy gas from Iran and are next door to Iran, so guess who matters more. A fight in Iran will be much harsher then a fight in Iraq. Your boy Saakashvili has flown his flag. Using Georgia for air bases would serve to save a lot more US lives then the 100 or so troops that Georgia has sent, a token force for a lot more then they're worth in foreign aid.
Russia is the one who sided with Soros, Michael Moore and every other pinko on Earth on the question of Iraq. Georgia only bought gas from Iran temporarily because Russia is so unreliable.
