I am for it.

Before welfare communities, which usually meant the churches, helped the poor, orphaned, and widowed. Before welfare a man was to proud to just take a hand out. He believed in working for what he received.

Faith based help is not 100% free from scandal but most of them would have a moral spiritual background that would be added to the financial help that would guide a person.

As with secular they would treat everything with drugs and acceptance of that is how they were born. Sit through seminars, hand out food, pay for housing.
