Rupert Murdoch is not a conservative, nor are his media holdings (at least those I am familiar with) "conservative" in any sense of the word. Fox News may seem conservative in comparison to the major networks, but that's only in a relative sense. And the NY Post is a big-government rag whose advertisements (particularly in the sports section) look like they belong in Hustler magazine.

All cable and satellite companies carry adult content - there is a huge demand for it. This is pretty much a non-story.

Speaking of it, I know hotels make a lot of their money through porn. Something they will not admit to. Even the family friendly ones.

Murdoch has never been a white knight in shining armor. He's just not a dedicated, 24-7 leftist like most of the rest of them.

This reminds me of a funny line I once heard some comedian say: "I can't be a Democrat because I like to keep all the money I earn. But I can't be a Republican because I like to spend it on porn and drugs."

"Previously, under British licensing rules, Rupert's Sky network was required to provide porn content produced by other networks. "
So British licensing requires networks to show porn?
For the list if you want it. FOX is not conervative, Murdoch just figured it would make money.

I must be missing something here Willie. I can't find high speed public rail transportation or layoffs and economic doom anywhere in this article. :^) (Thanks for posting this BTW)
