Calling All Americans: Prepare for Battle!
freestar media ^ | June 13, 2006 | Logan Darrow Clements

Posted on 06/16/2006 7:07:18 PM PDT by siznartuf

Remember Elian Gonzalez? By surrounding his home supporters kept the media tuned to his story and made all Americans aware of his plight.

In the same spirit Freestar hopes that you will form a "Human Constitution" around the homes and businesses of victims of eminent domain abuse on eviction day.

Soon Freestar will send out an invite to tabulate how many people will show up at the below-listed evictions. Only people who receive our free Newsletter will receive this invite.

We need volunteers to help with the planning. We intend to invite campers and RV owners to the Halper farm. We would also like to invite reinactors of the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. We would like to have concerts at all three locations but need sponsors (consumer product companies) to cover the cost.

EVICTION CALENDAR June 27, 2006: Bob Blue, Bernard Luggage Company, 1642 Vine Street, L.A., CA 90028

July 10, 2006: The Halper Family, 4 Bella Drive, Piscataway, NJ 08854

July?, 2006: Susette Kelo and Michael Christafaro, New London, CT (date unknown)

I don't know if anyone realizes it but the reason this eminent domain stuff started is because liberals didn't want us to get tax cuts in the first place so they figure if they steal what's not there's they can replace the cut's George Bush stole from them for Us .....

Are you saying that only liberals are using this law to take property?

Can you supply more information?

Thanks!

I will participate in the New London event, when a date is set. This is a good idea, media loves arrests and confrontations. Its a good way for us to show how serious we are about our constitutional rights. The situation shows that the states are not capable of protecting our property rights. The supreme court decision must be amended at he national level once and for all.

What about areas designated as blight? Are you against taking down the crack houses?

What about the vacant land South Central LA those socialists financed backed liberals and even the mayor of LA is trying to grab from the rightful owner? This is the one that was in the news where Hollywood celebrities were up in a tree to protest.

The rebuttal by the landowner, from what I can gather, he owned the property only to have it seized by E domain for a trash incinerator project that got held up in the courts due to environment and community concerns.

In the meantime, over a decade in the courts, squatters began farming on the property, renting the plots from self-appointed landlords, whom gave nothing in return to the city or the landowner, from the sale of the produce or the rent collected from the squatters illegally.

The city later was forced to sell back the land to the owner, but the tenant, farmer’s mostly illegal immigrants were lobbied to stay and protest by liberal socialists. The owner even offered to sell the land to the farmers and their “landlords:, but they never came up with the money on time, and in the meantime, the owner whom is Jewish received a lot of hate racist threats from the liberal socialists and now refuses on principle to let them stay and had squatters tossed off the property.

This story was on Larry King , and even O’Riley both sympathetic to the Hollywood celebrities whom have been duped by the liberals backing this communist style take over.

"The situation shows that the states are not capable of protecting our property rights." The black-robe backed robbers prove we actually don't have ANY property rights if a municipality or government want something of your 'property'. There is no Constitutional protection the black robed autocrats cannot take from you by ignoring constitutionally defined rights.

There are other ways(laws on the books) of 'taking down the crack houses' without shredding the constitution.

Who owns the crack house? Are you going to deny the inaleinable right of control to the owner? Why do you make exceptions? Why would anyone want to own property anymore if they can be denied control at the whim of a mob? Are you into selective enforcement, or what???

These are all sincere questions...

John and Ken on KFI have been all over this. I love how they and Ziegler have just skewered the left on this topic.

And Larry King is a freak, what a pansy, what a nothing interviewer.

Bottom line, it is Ralph Horowitz's property and he can dang well do what he pleases with it, squatters and lefties pound sand.

"Who owns the crack house?"
----sometimes it is a bunch of "heirs" that do not have the money to clean it up after momma dies, nor do they board it up to keep out riff-raff, but keep paying the few dollars of property tax to keep it from being seized by the county. It brings down the value of the adjacent neighbors' homes.

"Are you going to deny the inaleinable right of control to the owner? Why do you make exceptions?

absolutely, especially if the dump is on my street. People will live in these vacant homes and defecate on the floor or out in the backyard, and when it rains, it runs into your yard the same day your kid wants to play slip and slid. Let the City seize it, pay the market value for the piece of crap, clear it, and put it on the market for someone to build something that will enhance the neighborhood.

It's not always about some disabled, 90 year old veteran being kicked out of home. If so, I would be the first to defend. Its usually occurs with dilapidated structures.

"Why would anyone want to own property anymore if they can be denied control at the whim of a mob?"
-----Why would anyone want to own property if the local govt allows trash to live in trash, and it affects your neighborhood? If they want to live in the country in a single-wide and leave their broken down cars and coke machine on the front deck, so be it.

"Are you into selective enforcement, or what???"
-----No, I am for vigorous enforcement. kick out the scum and enhance the property of those that give a damn and want to have a decent place to live and die.

There. There are my sincere answers

No but they are more prone to do it than most others who actually read and use the Constitution most libs beleive that the Constitution is antiquated to old to be of any social use so they turn to stalinist ways which is more benifitial in the beginning to tax based programes than anything ,,,

Mayors ,Judges And township workers all over the country are becoming hip to taxing what dose not nor has no buisness being taxed and yet well it's taxed and squeezed for every penny !

It's not quite that simple. Both your neighbors "piece of crap'and your property(or the whole block)could be replaced by a garbage processing plant or something: for the "improvement of the community" of course.

Have you ever heard of a NAMBA? It means "NOT IN MY BACK YARD".

Yes -- other than reasonable community standards, zoning laws et.-- he should!

If you want to control your neighbors property, why don't you organize the neighborhood into a collective purchase of said property as a "common area" so that you can "control" it without using local government as your personal "enforcer" at everyone else's expense???

I realize that one way is so much easier than the other, of course.

this issue is definitely the most direct attack on freedom we have seen. Without property rights we are all tools of the state. This is worth fighting for as much as any national security issue.
