I for one haven't. I've been too busy on different threads here on FR. I have a meeting coming up but I'll look at it later.

BTW, do you know when that article in the Arizona newspaper on her was published; the one where the photo originated? I posted here that it may have been 2004 but later started thinking it may have been early 2005. Just curious. And thanks for all your fine posts on this wacko.

Boy, I really have to get her last name down pat. Sometimes I spell it with a 't', sometimes not. It's not the easiest one to remember.

This is weird but NOTHING is grabbing me this morning as really good DUFU material. This happens once in a while. There is a temptation to use inferior material but it shows so it is better to refrain. When I used to write movie reviews, I tried to slip a few reviews thru that I didn't think were up to par but they ALWAYS got rejected so better to "stand down" when the material isn't there.

I'll give it about another hour or so but right now I don't see anything. I've checked DUmmieland, Kos, and even other sites but NOTHING. And, YES, I have seen the DUmmie 9/11 Science Project thread. Since it has ALREADY been done in the National Review and other places, I WON'T be doing it.

Her most recent post at her website. Naturally, her outburst she considers 'freedom of speech, while rebuttal from the right is 'rabid' and neuters the left and makes them impotent. She then goes on to explain why she deletes comments that (in her opinion) are too nasty, incoherent or wordy. She also claims those who continue to respond to her outburst are stalking her, as if she didn't do the stalking to begin with.

The only word that comes to mind is delusional.

As the initial crisis fades, the larger issues come into focus - freedom of speech, the rabid right's hatred of academia, the rabid right's sex/violence fetish, and the way the so-called left is utterly and completely neutered and impotent.

I'm still getting some creepy stalker/threatening email and comments (they are moderated and I delete the ones that are too nasty or incoherent or wordy). It's like I'm a combination of Ward Churchill, Cindy Sheehan and Denice Denton. Apparently, there are a LOT of people out there who have a pent-up desire to stalk and try to bring down uppity lefties.

But why they think that continuing to tinkle on my ankle is going to slow me down is beyond me.

Well, our favorite nutcase moonbat psychologist is BAAAAAAKKK! She said she was closing down her posts/comments at 2:01 pm on July 11 for 'a few days'. It took alomst exactly 33 hours for her to return. I think she missed seeing herself in print......

I have decided to shut down SWP for a while. No posts. No comments. In a few days, I'll go over my monthly quota of something or other and I think it will disappear for a while.
