This is true only in the sense that non-Muslims nowadays rarely kill for religion, but for ideology (but there are exceptions, as in Ireland). Muslims were only tangentially involved in the Holocaust, which was overwhelmingly the work of professed Christians. As far as I know, Muslims were not concerned at all in Stalin's massacres, except as victims.
I believe he is referring to the current state of the world, not WWII era, when he says "its invariably Muslims versus someone else".
NAZIs and Commies don't much care about religion; many of them may have been born into traditionally Christian cultures, but their killings had nothing to do with being Christian and everything to do with their (separate) ideology. They didn't shout "In the name of the most-high Jesus" with every killing.
This is the same equivocation (trying to make Christianity as bad as Islam) as those including media who were so quick to point out that Tim McVeigh "was a Christian" - which curiously they never *bothered* mentioning BEFORE 9/11. (Because it was *irrelevent* to why he did it.)
Overwhelmingly the work of professed Christians? Like Hitler? You're being sarcastic, right?
Warning! This is a high-volume ping list.
Dear Christopher Lincoln:
Abe Lincoln you are not. He was honest, you are full of shiite. The Nazis were no more Christian that was Stalin and his Communists. Both regimes slaughtered Christians, especially priests and other clergy and religious. Hitler himself became an atheist after getting tossed out of Catholic school in his youth. Hitler incarcerated over 2,000 Catholic priests in Polish Concentration Camps and had hundreds of them murdered. He threw hundreds, perhaps thousands, of Catholic clergy into concentration camps in Germany. He killed thousands of preists, monks, and nuns in his camps.
Hitler also attacked and devastated Christian nations all over Europe, such as France, Austria, Poland, England, etc. How many American Christians died fighting the Nazis? I believe it was about 200,000. How many Christians died in Nazi concentration camps and while fighting against Hitler? Certainly millions.
