The elections are only 5 weeks away. They are of critical importance for all Americans. For their pocketbooks, their personal security and the security of their beloved country, without which the first two are impossible.
Over the next 5 weeks I will explain the dire consequences for this country of victory for Liberals and the Democrat Party. They must not be allowed to succeed.
Picture if you will the following scenario:
You return home from a shopping trip to find you left your door unlocked. You know this because when you walk into your kitchen you find a Mexican family sitting at your kitchen table. You tell them to leave immediately. They tell you they have cleaned the house, finished the laundry and dinner is cooking on the stove. All those things you hate to do. Therefore they refuse to leave and there is nothing you can do about it. They say they are hard working and honest, apart from the breaking into your house thing, which isn't really breaking the law is it??
Not only must you let them stay, you must add them to your Health Plan, pay to educate their children, and give them an allowance. If you threaten to call the police they will have hundreds of people picket your house causing disruption in your neighbourhood while accusing you of being a racist. Better yet, you must learn their language in order for you to communicate with them whilst you set up a bathroom schedule and a rotation for the family car. Because of course they can get a drivers license and when they earn money on the side, they don't pay taxes, so they can afford gas. The husband can do your lawn because you know you hate to do it and you can't get an American to do it any cheaper. You must do this because you have a nicer house than them and they are only trying to make a better life for themselves, because you know, they are hard working and honest.
For your house, read the United States. As crazy as this may sound, this is what the Liberal policy on illegal immigration is actually saying. They want a complete amnesty for all 12 million illegals, including the criminals. Of course they say that if they were kicked out it would cause problems for the US economy because they do the jobs Americans won't do. What is this "jobs Americans won't do" nonsense. We have welfare rolls. If you are not disabled you should be forced to do these jobs or you don't get any money. In fact there should never be a situation in which you are better off on welfare than if you had a job. So we have plenty of people to do those jobs.
Liberals do this because they care less about our security than about the rights of illegals to enter our country and about the right of terrorists to enter our country easily. They are always more worried about the rights of criminals and our enemies than about the rights of legal US citizens. It cost me around $2000 to get my citizenship and I did it legally. It took me years to accomplish and it was worth every penny. But Liberals don 't want anyone to be accountable for their actions, least of all criminals.
They also do it because they think illegals will vote Democrat. If they thought for a minute that they would vote Republican they would have the Great Wall of Mexico built in no time, using illegals to build it before they kicked them all out. For the time being they want them to be able to do things not all legal Americans can do. They want them to have drivers licenses without proper documentation, free health care, free education, free from paying taxes and the right to sue legal Americans in our courts. As usual Liberals care more about the criminals than the victims. Believe me, illegals are criminals and they are breaking a basic tenet of our Constitution and Bill of Rights in that no-one is above the law. It is costing this country billions of dollars each year and we, the taxpayers, are the victims.
So when you stand in the voting booth on November 7th remember this: the next time someone casually walks across our border into the welcoming arms of Liberals manning the water stations, it may not be Jose coming to mow your lawn to make a better life for himself, it may well be the next Mohammed Atta.

Bush made the statement and he is flat wrong. I do not agree with him on his immigration policy. Make the welfare recipients do these jobs. We can well do without the illegals, that is a specious argument.

There is no difference between what the Democrats are proposing and what Bush and the rest of the Republicans who've joined with them on this issue are proposing. Bush and Ted Kennedy could be reading from the same script.
The whole premise of this 'opinion' is wrong. You want to point out the negatives of a liberal won house and senate, there are plenty of negatives. Illegal immigration is a wash.
VOTE REPUBLICANS AGAINST EARNED AMNESTY AND FOR ENFORCEMENT OF OUR CURRENT IMMIGRATION LAWS.

The opinion is not wrong, in fact it is right. The fact that Bush and some of his Republican allies also have it wrong does not make this blog wrong. In fact it is one of the best blogs around for the truth on how Liberals really think.
If I had my way I would throw out ALL illegals and build a concrete wall along the entire border manned by gun towers and I would shoot on sight anyone who tried to get through. I would also allow trainee Apache pilots to patrol it and use illegals as target practice.
Me thinks this would cut down on the problem.

And I fear that as soon as the elections are over, a lot of the Republicans who profess to be "tough" on illegal immigration will suddenly become a lot more "reasonable" and support amnesty/guest worker programs.
