I'm not actually suggesting the Blackwell campaign run a "Strickland's a homo" ad or anything. I do think they need to emphasise his pro-pedophile vote though.
However, like Sister_T said, I agree that I don't want a MecGreevey-like incident to occur in Ohio if Strickland becomes Governor.

It is up to each voter to decide for him or herself whether Strickland's sexual orientation is relevant. Given that the overwhelming majority of Ohioans voted to limit marriage to one man and one woman, they may not want a politician who will kowtow to the gay agenda. Besides, even if someone takes your position that Strickland's sexual orientation will have no bearing on the positions he takes as governor, the fact that he continues to retain as one of his top staffers a known sexual predator is something that the "Hastert-must-resign!" crowd should be interested in hearing about.

The questions are really, "Who cares if he is honest or not?"
And "Who cares if he represents the values of Ohio voters or not?"
And "Will he support homosexual rights over the will of the people of Ohio?"
And, "Is this why he knowingly received praise from NAMBLA because of his vote to deny protection of youth from sexual predators?"
These are all legitimate questions that are offshoots of the question that you think is 'crap.'
