He is the first African-American man from the Democratic Party ever to be elected to the United States Senate. He received international media coverage for his keynote address at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, delivered while he was still an Illinois state senator. Obama won the open Senate seat while on leave from the University of Chicago Law School. He is the only African-American currently serving in the U.S. Senate, the fifth in U.S. history and the third since Reconstruction. Obama won the election in a landslide, with 70% of the vote to Alan Keyes' 27%. He is junior senator to Richard Durbin, with whom he is reported to have an excellent professional and personal relationship. Obama is married to Michelle Obama, a Chicago native. When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father eventually returned to Kenya, and he saw his son only once more before his death in 1982. Ann Obama married another East-West Center student from Indonesia. In his early childhood while growing up with his mother, Barack used the name 'Barry'. The family then moved to Jakarta, where Obama's half-sister Maya was born (Obama has other half-siblings from his father's other marriages). When Obama was ten he returned to Hawaii under the care of his grandparents, and later his mother, for the better educational opportunities. He was enrolled in the fifth grade at Punahou School, where he graduated with honors in 1979.
Upon finishing high school, Obama studied for two years at Occidental College, before transferring to Columbia University. There he majored in political science, with a specialization in international relations. Upon graduation, he worked for a year at newsletter publisher Business International (now part of The Economist Group), and then moved to Chicago, where he took up community organizing in the Altgeld Gardens housing project on the city's South Side. It was during his time spent here that Obama became a Christian and joined the Trinity United Church of Christ. He left Chicago for three years to study law at Harvard University, where he was elected the first black president of the Harvard Law Review. He graduated magna cum laude. While working one summer at a corporate law firm in 1989, Obama met Michelle Robinson, then an associate attorney at the firm; he married her in 1992. After law school, he returned to serving as a community organizer in Chicago. Obama organized an aggressive voter registration effort that registered over 100,000 voters and aided in the election of President Bill Clinton and Senator Carol Moseley Braun, the first African-American woman ever elected to the U.S. Senate. After reading the above bio, he/she posted;

And indeed .. If Obama WAS a Muslim and changed to Christianity ... why isn't he dead or at least in danger of his life like Salman Rushdi?
So I propose here for discussion .. Could Obama Barack really be a Muslim in sheep's clothing?
It is supposed to be part of their culture to lie so an end can be reached.
Or is he a 'specially protected' Christian?
Perhaps a deal has been struck with the Muslim world and CAIR and the usual etcetera's?
Well .. that's it .. nothing fancy except .. a really big question might be needing answered.
He's a lot younger than I thought!
If nothing else ... if and when he runs for something again .. I think this is as good a slam on his integrity as we've got so far.
The fact he was a PolySci major at Columbia, tells me everything I need to know about him politically.
I'm not aware that Salmon Rushdie is a Christian, so I don't see the connection with Obama. Rushdie doesn't live in the U.S. anyway, nor is he a political office seeker.
My reference to his being a Christion was interogatory ... if he's a Christian, the Muslims are supposed to kill him .. if he's still a Muslim, he's a wolf in sheep's clothing ... and has 'protection' to be the phony Christian.
Salman Rushdi was Muslim critical of Islam and they put out a contract on him ... just for writing a book ... Why (if Obama is a Christian convert) does he get a pass and Rushdi doesn't?
That's the point I am trying to convey.
There are tons of Muslim converts in the United States who aren't chased around like Rushdie. We should be encouraging this not asking if they're hiding behind Christianity I think that's an insult to those who have accepted Christ.
I have no trouble at all believing that Osama Obama is a stealth believer in I Slam.
Pretty odd and un-Christian like reasoning. Basically saying there are different levels of being a Christian and somehow or another someone here thinks he's more of a Christian than Obama or those who convert.
I agree, and if I didn't think America was in danger of being taken from within, I probably wouldn't be so paranoid.

That's still the law even in "free" Afghanistan. As the prophet said, "whoever changes his Muslim religion, kill him."
