This reminds me of the students at Berkeley demonstrating agatinst the election of Ronald Reagan as President in 1980. I'm sure their fellow pencil-necked, muscle-less, obsecnity-spewing, "big mouth/bully in a large group" twits will be just as effective two decades years later.

These "progressives" tend to be people who cannot think more than one step ahead (that is why they still believe in a planned economy where some dictator orders there to be prosperity). If they get their "revolution," do they think the communists or Islamists will share power with them? Do they think they will get their gay marriages or legalized meth that way? They might all agree on burning down the churches, and then what? Are feminists going to rise up and help the Islamists enslave women? It is one thing for a trendy American feminist to denounce the "Zionists" and declare solidarity with AlQaida. It is another thing when the Islamists are breaking down one's door, holding a burka on one hand and a noose on the other. Are black churchgoers going to help the communists burn down their churches because some leftist says it is for a "progressive" cause? Isn't it likely that those boring rubes in flyover country might be more handy with a rifle than some newly-minted "revolutionary" who got all his knowledge about guns from a leftist blog? Do they think this "popular revolution" would have any following beyond Berkely and San Francisco?
