Their version of Arab nationalism is as anti-Western as it is anti-Persian. The philosophies of these men have done much to inspire generations of Arab leaders such as Gamal Abdel Nasser, who passionately advocated the changing of the Persian Gulf to "Arab Gulf", or Saddam Hussein, who defined his Arabism by the extent of his brutality against Iranians (Kurds, Persians, etc.). http://www.venusproject.com/ecs/aFarrokhArab.html ______________

I work with a nurse who recently ended her service with the military as an army nurse. She spent a tour of duty in Iraq.

The other night a few of us were discussing the war. We brought up the weapons of mass destruction issue and she said that she had patients she and others knew were sick because of WMD's. She also stated that there is more there than she is allowed to discuss.

There is no doubt in my mind that WMD's were in existence in Iraq under Saddam's regime and I have no doubt that because of the long debate prior to our invasion, they were shipped to another country or buried somewhere.
