Now even more than ever, am hoping for Gore to jump in.

This morning on one of Fox News' Saturday morning business shows, one of the segments was devoted to speculation about Gore possibly getting a push to get into the 2008 race because of...get this...his anticipated Oscar win this weekend.

"I was unable to post a blog the past few days because my Comcast Cable connection was either down or slow as mollasses."

"It's Comcastic!"

"I anticipate all 17 of his supporters will flock to the Edwards campaign."

You had it right PJ! He would have doubled that 17 if he wore the Bear!

"That said, I'm trying to remember any other candidate in the last few cycles who entered the race (as opposed to forming an exploratory committee) and then withdrew in such short order, so long before the first voting."

He waited until Lent because he didn't want to read CH's inevitable "WEAR the BEAR" puns.

That we're supposed to be the greatest Democracy on the face of the earth and a serious, well-qualified candidate drops out of the race because of the MONEY it takes to conduct a campaign?!!! This is SICK!

The childish whine of the unemployed liberal.

I just love it when liberals, who are so concerned with how *I* should be spending MY money that they want to take it from me and spread it around, get all outraged about how it takes money to make a candidate a player.

If someone isn't savvy enough to figure out how to attract people to part with their money in order to promote the values they share with a candidate, what exactly are his or her qualifications for being the most powerful person on the planet?

These DUmmies would say that someone can be qualified to be president even if they're unemployed and living in their mom's basement. They are unserious, silly people who whine about the power of money because it makes them seem hip or something, when it only makes them look disingenuous and ignorant of reality.

Free popcorn is good, but where was the chocolate fountain?

I heard he tried, but he couldn't get the popcorn to flow out of the fountain with the chocolate so he gave up.

DUFU ping! Yeah!

Yeah, I've missed them these past few days. But PJ's had his problems with Comcast. I have Comcast and haven't had problems at all. But I live here in the frozen Midwest, not the sunny South where Global Warming is king :)

Since by the Chinese calendar this is the Year of the Boar, perhaps if Vilsack had worn the boar....

Year of the Pig.

He should have dropped Pooh, and gone with Pigglet.

They would be unbearable.

(Just letting you know I check my pings while I'm away.)

SIGH! No AM DUFU today because my Comcast was down until just a few minutes ago. Hopefully there will be a PM DUFU edition. I have a Comcast person coming out here on Wednesday because I really need to get this problem fixed. I don't think it is my modem. I am sure it is just LOUSY cable/internet service for this whole area.

ANOTHER day with mollasses slow internet. Tomorrow night a Comcast person is coming over here to HOPEFULLY fix this situation. Usually at night everything is working fine but slow in the early AM. And the early AM is when I am properly caffeinated for DUFUing.

Hmmm.... Now my cable connection is working okay but I sort of lost my "groove." Hard to explain but I need to start DUFUing earlier in the AM to get in my "groove." It is sort of like working on automatic pilot. Hopefully tomorrow I can be in my "groove" with the connection working. In any event, the Comcast person is coming over here tomorrow night to see just what is wrong and hopefully fix it.
