Choosing Between The Red Pill Or The Blue
Redneck's Revenge ^ | December 05, 2006 | Redneck Texan

So basically, I have concluded that there is no way we are ever going to win another sustained war overseas as long has our political process works in our enemy's favor. As long as the reward for obstructing our war efforts is a landslide victory at the ballot box, our soldiers will never be able to unleash their full potential on the battlefield. And we are never going to be able to get our elected officials to come together to look after America's best interests.

Which brings me around finally to my point.

What are we going to do about it?

I did a search and didn't see this posted. It's a bit long and a bit dated but an excellent read. As for me, I'll take the 'Red Pill'.

But what if that external catalyst never comes? Or we refuse to address the threat until it becomes too great to deal with? Are we going to just sit back and watch the Republic transform itself into a feeble caricature of its once powerful self. Are we going to let activist judges destroy us one incremental decision at a time? Are we going to sacrifice the education of our children on the alter of political correctness? At what point, if ever, will we decide that the future of our nation needs to be taken out of the Politician's and Judge's hands? How long do we let them keep screwing up our nation before we do something about it?

Are we, as individuals, prepared to take the blue pill of complacency, close our minds to the decline, and just maximize our remaining years here to enjoying the trappings of freedom and prosperity, and resign ourselves to not being able to alter the course of our nation when our faith in the ballot box has proven to be a counter-productive mirage, or are enough of us willing to swallow the red pill of nationalistic action and realize that if we want America to remain the prosperous, secure, and powerful nation our ancestors built out of the wilderness we are going to have to risk poverty and imprisonment to re-secure it, just as our founders did. Who will stand up and take our destiny away from the political class that is currently failing us?

Great questions. I know what my answers are.

I think it is somewhat simpler.

The anti war movemet must always be opposed and defeated at every turn.

It is primarily affiliated with the Left.

It should be dislodged by pointing out that the Peace they defend is really genocidal matrices of order combined with terrorist training grounds.

Once the anti war movement is morally discredited the partisan sniping would be a marginal problem.

Some progress has been made on this front but more will be done once there is another major terrorist attack.

Sadly, it appears we may have to wait until more innocents die— and by that I mean innnocents that the Peace movement cannot ignore. The peace movement does not give a whit for the lives of Iraqis killed by terrorists. They do not particularly care if Americans on American soil are killed in terrorists attacks but they cannot get away with that posture so readily in public arguments. For them, this was the real tragedy of 911— America bashing became so absurdly complicated.

Unfortunately democracies or even Democratic Republics, cannot win sustained wars. The Voting public won’t allow it. History has proven this to be the case time and time again since the days of Athens.

The anti war movement doesn't have the clout it had back in the 60's. We saw their numbers on March 17th. It's the media who make them appear to be successful. They didn't care that 2 million were murdered when we pulled out of Vietnam and they don't care how many Iraqi's would die if we pulled out of Iraq.

Their objective is to bring this country to her knees. Our political system and media have been infilterated with leftist supported by our fellow Americans who are either too stupid or too addicted to the nanny state to upset their apple cart.

Sadly, it appears we may have to wait until more innocents die

I'm afraid I have to agree with you on that. But, like the article stated, what if there's not another attack?

I understand what you're saying, but, this is a war for our survival. If we cut-n-run from Iraq the terrorist will see that as a victory, and they'll be correct.

Then what?

That was a great article. You said I wanted to but couldn't put into words. You should be very proud of that piece.

What is the significance of the name...910 group? Does it have to do with 9-11?

oh I agree this is a war for our survival. I don’t want us to cut and run trust me. In fact I think we need to declare war on every country that has an islamic government, BAR NONE. But the problem is, our people as a whole do not have the stomach for it. Too much bread and circuses in the american lifestyle. Until we lose a city or God forbid get invaded, I really don’t think this country will sustain this war against it’s enemies for much longer.

We have to defeat the media and the cut and runners first and right now we’re doing a piss poor job of that.

That posting raises some very important question that we better have answers for.

Pass me one of those red pills.

The response I want to give you for the first part of your post-I can't. I'd be banned. Suffice it to say. Well, I can't say that either. If you ever read any of my post you will know where I stand on issues such as this and the traitors infesting our country.

I believe we have been invaded and they are just waiting for their moment to put it into action.

We have to defeat the media and the cut and runners first and right now we’re doing a piss poor job of that.

You're right, we are doing a piss poor job of it...for now. Who knows what the future holds.

Very important questions.

I have a large supply of Red Pills, help yourself.

This country has a feeling of being locked and cocked. Sorta like a soldier might feel I would imagine just before he gets the order to go in.

Our borders are non existent. Our social services are on the verge of collapse. Our children are being indoctrinated at schools to accept multiculturalism. To accept the gay lifestyle as normal. Abortions-the murder of innocents, is being accepted as 'it ain't so bad.' God is being removed every where you turn, even our coins. Islam has declared they will take over this country. I could go on and on. Something will spark the fuse and light it. What, I don't know, or when.

Many of them really do care. They believe that those people in Viet Nam deserved it. They were on the Wrong Side. The same goes for the Iraqis.

I will use the Claie Wolfe standard for determining when armed resisitance is possible—

1. Pick up weapon.
2. Exit front door of home and take 10 paces.
3. Look left.
4. Look right.
5. If you do not see an armed neighbor looking left and looking right, return inside.

Wolfe described this nation as a place where “voting has stopped working and its too soon to shoot the bastards”. This was 7 years ago. I am pretty sure that “too aoon” will become “too late” for those that we would want to come out on top. By the time the decent hard-working people in this country start shooting, it will be in self-defense. Those that haves lives don’t revolt.

I concur.

I think its inevitable that ethnic / ideological cleansing will someday occur on the streets of America to such a degree that law enforcement will not be able to contain it.

The catalyst could be an attack that cripples our supply chain (empty grocery store shelves), or a judicial decision that leads to one segment of our communities feeling justified to redistribute material goods.

As ugly as those options are, I think I would prefer them over a permanent loss of electoral control to those that have the overall welfare of our Republican near the bottom of their list of voting issues. And as much as I hate to become a cheerleader for another, more devastating attack on our shores, the sooner it occurs the better the prospects for rebuilding the Republic are.

Its really a fundamental flaw in our democratic processes that ignorant people, with their individual best interests as their sole criteria for casting a ballot, are allowed to cast a vote that influences the direction of our nation. Its a great and noble idea on paper, but once those idiots gain a controlling majority the entire system is doomed to failure.

We’re crossing that Rubicon now.

Good post, and spot on. You have articulated what I have been searching for words to describe. The “feeling.”
