Seeing someone with a gun at a gas station is probably a sign they are holding up the place. LOL.
You almost got a Darwin award for that one...
Man walks into gas station, sees another man with gun, in front of counter, no clerk in sight: “Hey, that’s a sweet pistol ya got there. Mind if I give it a look. Ya know, I been lookin’ to buy one of these. Mind if we go out back shootin’ later?”
Just damn!!!! Crook must have thought he was in Bizarro World or something. :O)

Lets see what happens.
Yeah, I was kind of shook up AFTER the fact. While it was happening, I didn't have a clue.
"Described as silent and standoffish, he had shown recent signs of violent, aberrant behavior, according to an investigative source, including setting a fire in a dorm room and allegedly stalking some women.
"A search warrant for Cho's dorm room after the shootings stated that a bomb threat against the engineering school buildings was found near Cho's body, The New York Times reported. The warrant mentioned two other bomb threat notes against the campus received over the past three weeks.
"Investigators believe Cho at some point had been taking medication for depression.
"School officials said Cho posted a deadly warning on a school online forum: "im going to kill people at vtech."
"Like Cho himself, it seems the warning was ignored.

LOL!
“Then I saw a gun in the guy’s hand and asked if I could take a look”
Maybe this is the way we should handle all common criminals!
Good sleuthing.
WaPo now reporting that it was actually “Ismale Ax” tattooed on his arm. However, this might still be related to Ismail Ak since it could be a play on his name or his nickname for him. If it does turn out to be Ismail Ak then it must have been a powerful connection to actually have the name TATTOOED on the arm.
Good sleuthing, but I just find it hard to believe. Could be an incredible coincidence.
If the man were on the East Coast of the US, I’d think it more plausible.
But, 1 never knows. Especially with a nut!
save my place ping. this is getting interesting.
Rosebud.
At least it personally meant something to him.
Great work. Relentless pursuit of the truth BUMP!
The authorities need to check Cho’s computer to see if there is a link to Ismail Ak.
Yes, I had considered that. Cho was known to play on names, as in his two plays, "Richard McBeef" and "Mr. Brownstone." For him to add an "s" sound to "Ak" and thus come up with "Ax," for a guy obsessed with weapons--not impossible. Likewise, "Ismail" > "Ismale."
On the Internet or in the VT library, Cho may have come across the name of the psychological expert, Dr. Ismail Ak--an authority on antisocial behavior, depression, conduct disorders, psychopharmacology, etc., whose article on "Predictors of Suicidal Behavior" had appeared in the journal "Death Studies," next to an article on "Death on Campuses"--and the name may have intrgued Cho, who then turned it into what appeared on his arm.
Interesting and good find about his play on words. That Ismale Ax reference now makes more sense. I’m sure the authorities will be checking out Cho’s computer and computer account.
