Take Back Charlotte Mecklenburg has long been apart in fight for Jessica’s Law for North Carolina . We have put this plea on our website and hope you will join the fight with us. Sadly, all of our North Carolina Representatives are still dragging their feet with this. Our North Carolina Representative’s keep pointing their fingers at one another and give every excuse in the book. Not one of these Representatives have taken a firm stand in North Carolina General Assembly. We need them to be forceful and direct when it comes to protecting our children, instead of playing games.
North Carolina Representatives keep making Jessica’s Law political, when they play let’s make a deal. What they keep forgetting the most important factor in all this, our children. Our legislators need to remember that our children are not a Democratic or Republican, they are just children.
Still, it has been over three years and our lawmakers have not done anything but act busy as this bill languishes in committee. For the sake of our children North Carolina needs to get tough on Sex Offenders and pass Jessica’s Law before it's too late.

Taking a non-political stand various individuals, groups and organizations formed an action group called, “Jessica’s Law Now North Carolina.” The Group formed in response to the apathetic lawmakers, who are dithering about Jessica’s Law rather than making a solid difference toward protecting our children. This formed coalition is tired of all the prolonging games and excuses our lawmakers make when it comes to our children.
Jessica’s Law Now North Carolina has issued warrants, for North Carolina’s Most Wanted Representatives. Who are not full filling their duties expeditiously, by pushing H.B. 933 out of committee they are failing, when it comes to protecting our children. The following representatives have failed to necessitate a stand to help pass HB 933 Jessica Lunsford Act aka. Jessica’s Law. We need to remind our North Carolina Representatives of the importance of protecting our children from sex offenders.
