OMG! I actually owned the issue of Spy at one point. I used to enjoy that magazine even though I’ve never been anywhere near New York.
One of my favorite articles was about Hollywood scarecrows, which were pretentious actors who wore glasses w/o any lenses when they wanted to appear intelligent.
That picture is from the cover of SPY, February 1993. I found it in an old box of books and magazines I had in the garage.
