Ok fine send Libby to prison - - -How would that work out? let's see - how long will it take before someone there gets key information out of him, then resells it one of America's enemys? . . . Really this has nothing to do with "playing politics" and everything to do with Politics. I don't see favortism as the key for Bush's decision to commutate Libby. What I see Bush doing is keeping America Safe. Let's face it; Libby just plan and simply knows tooo dang much secret information.

i do think there is a point there, but he would be seperated from most other prisoners if he went that it should not be an issue.

state secrets should be hard to get.

You can’t lie if there’s no crime, plain and simple. The Administration decides who gets what cover, what’s classified. Natasha doesn’t decidde, the CIA doesn’t decide, but the Administration does decide. And once the Administration decides that you are no longer covered, you aren’t. In other words, the Administration can’t out a ‘secret agent’; it simply determines that you are no longer a ‘secret agent’

What’s more, why does Russert’s varying stories make him a witness, and Libby’s make him a defendant?

How does it work out when the nasty business of politics, ie: investigating crimes that never occured, and then going on a witch hunt for Libby in any way possible to convict a Bush Administration official, and falling short of Karl Rove in the hunt, looking for Cheney and impeach Bush? and ruining people’s lives for their agenda? I think Bush will give Libby a full pardon at the end of his Presidency, and rightfully so as we prepare for the next “Merry Fitzmas”. How about an investigation in prosecutorial misconduct...oh I forgot, Fitz’s bosses are all liberals too.
