On this day in history TWA was downed - witnesses saw a streak of smoke like a trailing missile hit TWA 800.
If you believe the "official story" about TWA 800 that the Clinton Administration forced on the public with the help of the FBI and CIA you need to read this book and listen to all of the witnesses.
I’m convinced that this was an terrorist strike on our Airlines. Bill Clinton wanted this story to go away, so a "Center Fuel Tank" story was hatched, Janet Reno with the help of FBI and the CIA ran with this story. The last thing Bill Clinton wanted to do was tackle a BIG problem like Terrorism. He wanted to "kick that can" down the road.

If this really was a terrorist attack covered up, then Bush is in on the coverup. There’s no way the coverup could block information getting to the next administration. When Bush came in, his people would have to know.
So is that what you’re saying? That Bush, too, is covering up a major terror attack on American soil?
On one hand there are a lot of odd circumstances surrounding this crash that lend to there being a conspiracy to cover up an attack. On the other, if a terrorist group was responsible they certainly would have taken credit for it.
A good friend of mine works for NTSB and was involved in the investigation. He swears there was NO coverup. I DO NOT believe him!
Interesting enough, last night I started re-reading Nelson Demille’s “Night Fall”. I’d forgotten the anniversary date of Flight 800 until last night.
Then there was the Egyptian Airline taken over by a pilot who yelled Allah Akbar as he put the plane in a downward spin. Not terrorism there either.

Sparks from defectively insulated wires have been tied to several different aviation mishaps. Given all the people that were involved in this mishap investigation I find it impossible they could all be silenced. Not even Klintoon could kill that many people and get away with it.
My opinion is that Bush was on his “New Tone” kick and probably let it pass.
I personally think if you are the new President and you have information that would break apart the CIA, FBI and a former President - what do you do? The liberals HATE him so much that they would have said it was a bunch of lies, and that Bush was just trying to damage the Democrats.
Hell, their is enough info about Clinton dropping the ball on events leading up to the September terrorist attacks - Bush didn’t say a thing nor fight for himself during the sham commission with Jamie Gorrelik at the lead.
And this is the same elements in the CIA that are trying to destroy President Bush.

I believe July 17th is the anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi Baath party. An oblique calling card was left but for obvious reasons the responsible party didn’t take credit.
