My mind-reading abilities are fairly limited ... but, I’m pretty sure it has something to do with an easily-agitated apple cart.
I simply asked the question - why cover up ONE terrorist attack (TWA 800) and not the others (USS Cole, WTC 1993, etc.)? It makes no sense to risk your administration to (1) protect terrorists, and (2) lie to the public about the deaths of hundreds of American civilians (theoretically to avoid upsetting “the apple cart”), and then to honestly blame other attacks on THE EXACT SAME TERRORISTS!

How do you know who the TWA 800 terrorists were? Are you saying it was Bin Laden behind it? The White House at the time, according to Richard Clarke, thought Iran might have been behind it. Besides that, the FBI didn’t even get CIA Files on Bin Laden until 1995!
