SAULT STE. MARIE, Ontario Organizers of a conservative online forum in Canada say their free-speech rights are under attack after they received a letter saying a complaint has been filed with the Canadian Human Rights Commission. Marie-Line Gentes was offended by comments posted at freedominion.ca, a canadian-conservative forum, and has filed a complaint with the Canadian Human Rights Commission alleging "hate speech". Here is the offensive remarks:
The remarks were posted on FreeDominion.ca, a sister site to the conservative U.S. forum FreeRepublic, by FreeDominion member Bill Whatcott, a former homosexual prostitute turned outspoken Christian activist.I can't figure out why the homosexuals I ran into are on the side of the Muslims, Mr. Whatcott wrote on the Web site. After all, Muslims who practice Sharia law tend to advocate beheading homosexuals.

Didnt read the article, didnt have to, Islam and Homosexual in the same sentence not much difference. Both are abomination.
In many Islamic countries male-on-male sodomy is overlooked as long as there are no romantic overtones to the encounter.
An acquaintance of mine who returned from duty as a troop trainer in Afghanistan said, “There is so much butt-f-——g going on over there the Afghans don’t even have a name for it.”
He said when new Afghan recruits arrived at their training base—where he was employed—they were routinely sexually assaulted by upper classmen on their first night. He said this was an accepted tradition.
That doesn’t sound like “hate speech”. It sounds like free speech that a liberal disagreed with. Do conservatives in Canada no longer have the right to express their opinions? It’s not like he was encouraging people on the site to go out and kill homosexuals and Muslims. This will come to the U.S. if we don’t cut on this PC nonsense.
Ping.
Truth hurts I guess.
Better not mention that Mohammed had sex with his child bride either.
I agree, that is where the PC (tolerant) speech leads.
It will stifle free-speech in favor of not offending and in this case what he stated was true and as you said didn’t try to incite violence.

So?
