Duncan Hunter now crafting legislation to take some Fed. funds from Columbia Univ. (audio)

Yesterday again, I heard Jay Seculo say that Duncan Hunter threatened to stop federal $$ from going to Columbia because of the Ahmadinejad speech, then Jay Seculo added, and Hunter should know because he presently has a son serving in the Middle East.

Attorney Jay Seculo (aclj.org) counters the ACLU, and fights for religious liberty and other liberties, pro-life causes, etc., and Seculo also talks about current events on his show.

If anyone wants to call Jay Seculo’s show sometime to bring out Hunter’s name again, if you call the show RIGHT AT NOON, Eastern Time, you have a fair chance of getting on the show. I have called the show myself, and will call re: Hunter next time I get the chance.

And you don’t have to wait that long because the show is only one-half hour (M-F).

PRESIDENT DUNCAN HUNTER BUMP!

Hunter got #3 in Keith Olbermann's "Worst person in the World" for what he said about Columbia. I cannot think of a better endorsement for Congressman Hunter than censure from KO.

On the other hand, many would not be impressed that Bill O'Reilly got the coveted #1 and #2 worst person in the world.

Today, for the 3rd day in a row, Jay Sekulow’s radio show talked about Duncan Hunter.

At the beginning of the show they briefly mentioned him, and then later in the show they talked about his legislation again, which is to stop the Federal funds from going to Columbia Univ. for two reasons (I’m paraphrasing):

1) They gave AhMADinejad a forum

2) Columbia Univ. won’t allow the ROTC there.

To prohibit Federal grants to or contracts with Columbia University.

(1) Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called for the destruction of the State of Israel, a critical ally of the United States.

(2) In January 2007, commander of Multinational Corps-Iraq, Lt. Gen. Ray Odierno stated that the United States had traced back to Iran serial numbers of weapons captured in Iraq, including rocket-propelled grenades, roadside bombs and Katyusha rockets.

(3) These types of weapons have been used in Iraq to kill and injure members of American, Iraqi, and coalition forces and undermine the nascent Iraqi government.

(4) Despite Iran’s support for terrorism, Columbia University extended an invitation to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to address students and faculty from the University campus.

(5) Columbia University dissolved its long-standing Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program on campus because of disagreement with United States military policy, and for nearly four decades has not invited the return of any ROTC program to the University campus.

(6) Despite this fact, Columbia University has continued to accept funds made available through ROTC scholarships, while University faculty continue to oppose United States military policies and law.

(7) Through their invitation, Columbia University provided a public, prestigious platform on United States soil from which on September 24, 2007, President Ahmadinejad spoke and defended his wide-ranging support for terrorist activities.”
