A father (columnist) writes that his children cannot even use the word “Christmas” in songs:

I just got back from Kmart today and saw red stickers on all of the front doors that said “Merry Christmas” and the clerk who checked me out wished me a Merry Christmas as I left.
If I am not mistaken both are barely open anyway. No one shops at these stores in my area. If I go in they are very empty and few sales people even.
What does shopping have to do with Christmas anyway?
What the heck, just spent several hundred dollars at Sears for holiday and xmas gifts. Oh well.
Exactly who is it, among their customers or "associates," that might be offended if they sold Christmas Trees? I'm Jewish and it certainly wouldn't offend me. Who?

Other than Christians. Rumor has it there are one or
two of ‘em in this country. Good move.
They tried this several years ago, I happened to go into a Sears store when I saw a sign taped to the door that said “Merry Christmas”. It had obviously been run off an office printer...guess they were getting the message. But obviously they didn’t learn. Time to hit them again. Oh, and don’t forget Chase banks, they are into killing Christmas too.
Thanks for the post. Now I know where I won’t be “Christmas” shopping.
