Let the snake oil salesman talk and talk and talk.

Huckabee gives me the creeps, I can’t even stand to look at him.

In time more people might wake up. Hope it’s soon.

What specifically does the Huckster want to change? Those who wrote the US Constitution were predominantly Christians and certainly sought God’s favor and wisdom in penning that miraculous document.

Huckabee IS the candidate that all the evangelicals were afraid Mitt would be.

Huck is a Pastor running for President instead of a candidate for President who happens to be a pastor.

Holy freakin’ crap.

You know, the Founders were all religious to varying degrees, some extremely so. But they gave us the government we have because they knew from recent history (Puritans) the dangers of one. One only has to look at the Muslim world to see the modern day version of that.

So is the Huckablasphemer smarter than the Founders? Uh, no Mike, your not.

I consider myself a very conservative Christian, and I find Huckabee to be one scary individual!

Nice thing about that Constitution. It disperses power to the extent that someone like Huckabee can't simply issue a diktat to implement his wish list.

If Huck doesn’t cut it out, I am going to have to grow extra fingers and toes to keep count.

Isn’t this the fifth time he has proposed an amendment or to amend an amendment?

Huck knows all of this ain’t gonna happen, but his supporters can dream.

I’d be really offended ... if I could figure out what the Huck he is even saying. It sounds like gibbering nonsense to me.

What’s this nonsense about ... “than it would be to change the word of the living God,” ... huh? Is he claiming other people are trying to change what God says or his standards? Where are they doing that?!? He is trying to blaspheme and appropriate God for his political campaign?!?

Nobody is going around claiming their opposition to HLA or whatever he might be talking about is Biblical. The guy is creating a big strawman argument to knock down, and in the process showing very poor discernment and judgment about how to properly view the Constitution. Godly men wrote the Constitution, but it doesn’t mention God and it is man’s law, not God’s law. It guarantees freedom to worship rather than codifying one religious group’s beliefs.

Theocratic-sounding stuff like this is just meat for the grinder for the MSM. By the time they are through, the Huckster will be less popular than Sheik Mullah Omar.

This guy is so obviously mincemeat in the general election, we should just drop him right now like a hot potato.

Huckabee said, referring to the need for a constitutional human life amendment and an amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman.

If you’re going to bash him, and there is good cause, at least put the bash in an honest context. Many don’t have issues with that particular amendment.

And speaking as an evangelical who attends a Baptist church, I'll be damned if I'm going to let any Baptist preacher take that freedom away from me or my fellow Americans.

Some may suggest that "Damned" is exactly what you may be...

Gee, you left off that last line. Yeah, Christian Taliban right. I went down Arkansas last week, and the whole city of Little Rock was walking around say “Mike is my leader, Mike is my leader. Please wear your tin foil at all time in Arkansas, this a Christian Taliban state, and its coming to you America.”

OK, how many of you people are pot heads? No other explanation for this level of schizoid paranoia.

WARREN, Mich. — Huckabee’s closing argument to voters here this evening featured a few new stories and two prolonged sections on illegal immigration and Christian values.

These two topics usually feature prominently in Huckabee’s stump speech, but last night he got specific, promising to build a border fence within 18 months if elected and elaborating on his belief that the constitution needs to be amended.

“[Some of my opponents] do not want to change the Constitution, but I believe it’s a lot easier to change the constitution than it would be to change the word of the living God, and that’s what we need to do is to amend the Constitution so it’s in God’s standards rather than try to change God’s standards,” Huckabee said, referring to the need for a constitutional human life amendment and an amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman.

Huckabee often refers to the need to amend the constitution on these grounds, but he has never so specifically called for the Constitution to be brought within “God’s standards,” which are themselves debated amongst religious scholars. As a closing statement he asked the room of nearly 500 supporters to “pray and then work hard, and in that order,” to help him secure a victory in Tuesday’s GOP primary.

Tomorrow Huckabee will visit two polling places in the morning before taking off for South Carolina where he will watch Michigan’s returns come in.
