It's a prototype.

Depending on how the stock is attached, the BATFE might designate this as a 'short-barreled rifle', and that means Class 3, and that means it will not be readily available to the general public.

Depends if the ‘stock’ is part of the container or part of the weapon itself. If the weapon is easily removable and not dedicated to a specific weapon, MAYBE that would work.
