Obama a "Snow Job" in More Ways than One

It seems that, at the same age (early 20s) at which the next President of the United States was at the U.S. Naval Academy and learning to fly high-performance jet aircraft, the Democrats’ likely nominee was thoroughly “snowed.”

I blew a few smoke rings, remembering those years. Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it. Not smack, though…

In this science fiction story, “guided” people live their lives according to what are essentially daily horoscopes from graffiti artists, and even slit their wrists if that is what their selected prophet (blogger?) tells them to do. This sounds pretty much like Barack Obama’s constituency: "guided" people from Lafferty's story.

While not spelled out explicitly, grass = marijuana, snow = cocaine, hemp (leaves) = marijuana.
