I have said for over four months that we need a new horse in this race.

There’s no way he can be trusted to secure our borders. And without secure borders, NOTHING else he promises means anything because it won’t matter anymore. This country will be toast.

As long Juan Hernandez remains on his staff, you can be certain there will be, as you say, "No fence and an amnesty."

At this point, even if he ditched Hernandez and declared a change in policy, we will know that he has two messages: one for us and one for them.

Which is sad, because we really need a viable choice to Marxism and racism (how about 'Americanism'?). We really need someone on the Right, but all we have are candidates from the Left.

Once, this man had honor. Now he has none. There was a question posed to him during one of the earlier debates. It went like, "Senator, you sponsored a backroom quick turnaround Immigration bill that eventually saw the light of day and never made it to the president's desk. IF, you're elected President, and such a bill hit your desk, would you sign it?"

His answer? "It will never come to a vote, it'd never hit my desk"...."Senator, that wasn't my question, would you sign it? His answer? " It will never get to my desk."

In other words, the stubborn SOB revealed his TRUE intentions. Thereafter whenever he was with an anti-illegal crowd, he was one way, and when with another crowd he was all another way. NOW, he's gotten serious, serious enough to hold secret meetings.

There is no honor in this man, and there is no honor in voting for him. You can equivocate the alternatives, but you have living proof of this man's honor and only speculation and conjecture for the alternatives to him. I'll not vote for him, nor for Obama for that matter.

I know of Bob Barr very well. He was the Congressman to a neighboring district from mine (Newt’s old district). Ordinarily, I’d have gone his way in a New York minute, but his contract work for the ACLU since his departure from Congress gave me some discomfort. I guess I’m stubborn, but he’s looking more and more like the alternative for me now. I just won’t vote for McCain or Obama. I don’t subscribe to the fear alternatives, the current McCain apologists are hawking now. I was in the military 68-76 so I know what liberals can do to the military but I also know that the training and attitude of our soldiers is the best, bar none - and they will survive.

His public interaction in my knowledge of him were always above board.
