It’s not whether he is a citizen, he is, it’s whether he qualifies as a natural born one. There are certain conditions that have to be met for THAT status. And to be president you HAVE to HAVE that status.
The current rules are NOT the same as those that were in force at the time of his birth.

At the time of BHO birth, in 1961, babies and small children were still able to travel on their parents' passport.
If it was issued prior to BHO's birth, it might indicate that she had traveled overseas, giving evidence that he was not born in the US.
He could have been born in a pig sty on Mars to Mao Tse Dong and it still would not matter as to whether or not he is a real US citizen as long as one of the parents was a US citizen.
I have from the start been extremely critical of this story.
However, there is something odd about why Obama will not post his original BC.
I'm thinking that the original might contain a middle name like Muhammad such as Baracks Hussein Muhammad Obama ll.
We need to get off the where was he born hype and concentrate on why the Obama campaign site posted a fake but accurate Dan Rather document.
We all know that liberals would rather embellish or hide the truth and that was learned from the Clinton's.
I am ignorant of American law in 1981 as to the number of years and how old was his mother at the time.
This BC thing is complicated to those just now taking a fresh look as to why Obama and his campaign chooses a Dan Rather Document over just posting the real document.

Now tell me again it doesn’t have anything to do with his mother’s 16th birthday.
Here is the basic law in effect at the time.
Obama’s mother was 18 when he was born. Thus she had not resided in the US for at least 5 years after her 16th birthday.

So when did that occur? It is very recent. It wasn’t in 1961 and the Founders would roll over in their graves at the thought.
But I am *very* curious as to *why* he'd go to the trouble unless he had something to gain... or something to loose.
It's worth dogging at a bit more, IMHO. There's a truth somewhere in this story and it's probably damaging to BO.

On Obama's faked-out birth certificate * race * for his father was listed as African. Hawaian government would have said negro. African is an origin like Italian, Israelite, French, German, Swedish, Haitian, Finish, French Canadian.
In August 1961, any legal or government document would have listed Obama's father as a negro... period...
But quite frankly, none of the Boston birth certificates listed the race of the father or the mother. And Boston birth certificates are handwritten.
And, it's doubtful that Hawaii would have gone to the expense of embossing the state seal on a birth certificate in 1961. Boston uses a watermark.
So the law was changed in 1986.
Did the new law grandfather in those citizens like Obama.
The next big decision is does Obama know this and would he step back for Hillary.
Since we are dealing with liberals who have no real moral values based in Christianity I doubt they would want to honor any law.
Laws to liberals are made to keep conservatives in line.
Liberals are above the law.
