On Wednesday we initiated a Drill Now Email Initiative designed to work in conjunction with the Drill Here, Drill Now Petition. The effort is to force a handful of Democratic Congressional Leaders, along with some Republicans, to stop their attempts to block the "Gas Price Reduction Act of 2008" a bill that would remove the moratorium on offshore drilling, remove the moratorium placed on Oil Shale Exploration by congress last year, Offers incentives and investment in electric vehicle and alternative energy development, and increases funding and oversight provisions within the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the group that monitors commodities activities such as speculation).

For their part congressional leadership has put forth the "Use It Or Lose It Bill" which would double land lease rates for oil companies currently engaged in offshore &... In just 2 days we have sent over 43,268 emails to congressional leaders. Today, we are adding 11 additional congressional members to the list as we continue to expand our reach. We need your help...
