IRAQI Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has cut the legs out from under John McCain by basically endorsing Sen. Barack Obama’s troop-withdrawal plan.
Just when McCain had Obama on the defensive over the Democrat’s plan to surrender after we’ve won in Iraq, Maliki has made McCain look the naif for opposing a timetable for withdrawal.
Unless McCain changes his approach, he’s lost the use of this issue. He can’t come out for staying in Iraq longer than the government we support wants.

Is there anyone on Fox News who DOESN’T parrot the line that Maliki endorsed Obama’s “plan for withdrawal”?
If anybody knows one who doesn’t, please tell me.
Maliki said the 16 mos. timeframe sounded about right, but made it clear that conditions would determine the Iraqi view of it.
Obama’a schtick is that they’ll be out in 16 mos., period. No exceptions, no way, no how.
Not to mention, Obama’s original plan would have never had the Surge and all troops would have been out as of March of this year.
He actually changed the dates of the 16 mo. withdrawal period.
The best thing to do is whenever the liars say Maliki endorsed Obama’s plan, immediately ask “which Obama plan...the one that would have never had the Surge and would have pulled all troops out by this past March, no matter what happened in Iraq, or his most recent plan to pull them out 16 mos after he takes office, no matter what happens in Iraq?”
