I’ve been told by a Constitutional lawyer, who is a freeper, that dual nationality will not bar you automatically from being President.

Not having been born in the U.S.A., however, will make you ineligible to be President.

McCain was born in Panama.

Where was Barack Hussein Obama II born? We still haven’t found that one out yet and he still isn’t saying.

Thank you for your input. There’s still the problem of a forged identification. I suppose someone could go to jail and take the heat for him. But then he has to feign ignorance of the forgery. That would be a hard lie to believe. Gosh, it’s past 2 am and I didn’t check my tires for proper inflation. Do you prefer helium or greenhouse gases?

Yeah, that's what I thought too. However, the presence of the birth certificate issued in HI under the name Soetoro doesn't seem to be a problem, as it only reflects him being adopted by his mom's 2nd husband. It only indicates that there might be the other birth certificate, pressumably issued when he was born. But again, he could have been born in HI only with a different name. The possible real issue is if he was born in Kenya, but I haven't seen any indication about that. He could have been born in Indonesia too, but there's no indication about that either.

yes, he was born in Panama. But it was to US Parents, with his father stationed there in the Navy. He is as much a citizen of the US as I am, being born in the people’s republic of Massachusetts.

Now my sister was born in Tokyo when my Dad was stationed there after the war. She had a helluva time getting a passport back in the 80’s. Kind of funny.

But, she too is a citizen. But you wouldnt want her as president.
