I won't vote for Sen. McCain if he picks pro-abort running mate like Gov.Crist,et al

Posted on 08/15/2008 11:45:13 PM PDT by Sun

This can be a deciding factor in a close election, and it looks as if the election will be a very close horse race.

Most voters know that Joe Lieberman and Tom Ridge are pro-aborts, but they might not know about Florida's Gov. Charlie Crist. He is sneaky, calls himself pro-life, but is not.

Awhile back the Florida House approved a bill to give women the option to see an ultrasound before having an abortion.

I heard Laura Ingraham say that Gov. Charlie Crist did not support this in the past, but he might support it now, because he wants to be the VP running mate.

So how can we trust Gov. Crist?

The ball is in Senator McCain's court. If he wants to reach out to conservatives, as he promised at C-PAC, he will earn conservative votes. Otherwise, many will stay home or vote 3rd party.

Plus, Gov. Charlie Crist called Judge Greer, who sentenced Terri Schiavo to death, a great hero.

‘”I am pro-choice, but not pro-abortion,” Crist wrote in a 1998 Times questionnaire. “I believe that a woman has the right to choose, but would prefer only after careful consideration and consultation with her family, her physician, and her clergy; not her government.”

Today Crist calls himself “pro-life,” but when pressed, he doesn’t sound substantively different than he did during his 1998 U.S. Senate campaign. “What we need to do is encourage a culture that respects life, as opposed to overturning (Roe vs. Wade),” he said this week.”

I won’t vote for mccain if he chooses Hunter for VP even tho Hunter is my choice for presidential candidate. I would then question Hunter’s judgement on accepting the offer

Thanks for your thoughts, but I would even donate to McCain’s campaign if he picked Duncan Hunter, and it would be the first time I ever contributed to a “moderate.”

Of course Governor Crist is pro-life! Who has fewer abortions than the gays?

I don’t like Gov. Crist’s politics, but that might just have been a rumor. He just got married, and was married before.

Should Obama become Pres more abortions will occur. Not just for the next four years either, he will load the court.

Don't throw away your vote.

The best way to reduce abortion is for the president to pick prolife judges to overturn Roe, so it goes to the states. Not all states are antilife, so many babies will be saved.

But how can I trust McCain to pick prolife judges, if he picks an antilife running mate?

Need to pound this into people’s heads ENOUGH WITH THESE FUGGING RINOS vote them out! hell I got no say in this election, only my congressman is up for re-election and the GOP didn’t bother to field a candidate. last 5 elections I voted for the conservative and they didn’t win

Baptists are praying for Obama to become prolife.

GOD is not pleased with killing his children.

McCain is as seriously considering a pro abort candidate for VP as he was considering being Kerry’s running mate in 2004. He is just having fun tweaking the Christian Right.

Leave the drama to Obama. Let McCain pick his running mate first. Sheesh!

Or he might be testing the waters to see our reaction.

“Let McCain pick his running mate first.”

No, then it will be TOO LATE.

Here’s a dream ticket: McCain/pro-abort 2008!

But it is a dream ticket for OBAMA!

We should all pray that all of the candidates become pro-life.

He isn't going to be chosen.

He is a pretty good Gov, but not too conservative.

He is off on offshore oil drilling.

And, no secret here in Florida, He's GAY!
