Yes, I’m serious. I am a conservative with some liberal friends and family members who encourage me to say nice things about liberals when I can. This is an attempt.
Love him or hate him: Biden is real. Unlike Bill Clinton or Barack Obama, you can scratch Joe Biden and find substance below the surface.
Having said that, there is no way I would vote for him. He’s way too liberal.
Also, I intended this as a subtle slap at the Obamessiah. He has no substance, so he had to go get some in the form of Joe Biden. Ironically, this could end up hurting Obama by making him look like a dwarf next to Biden.

I agree. I have two different friends who are democrats. I started talking to them about partial birth abortion. They had no idea what I was talking about. I was appalled. After I explained it to them, they were shocked. I said this is the party you've aligned yourself with, “do they reflect your views?” And I went on to other subjects and they didn't agree with the dem view. We have to educate those around us. I have noticed that democrats have a tendency to be apolitical, that's why they vote the way they do.
Oh yes, apolitical meaning they only watch the news(major leftists networks) and form an unbiased(socialist) opinion based on the information presented to them(leftist propaganda).
