HOORAY!!! It's about time the truth be told! I can just visualize the look of horror on the moonbats’ faces when they saw the billboards. I'm sure they didn't believe it and had to Google it to verify the truth.

As Fat Ted Kennedy, swimmer/murderer, tries to pass the Kennedy baton to Obama America, I want to point out that the Kennedys tapped MLK Jr.’s phone calls.

Just something some people seem to have forgotten after seeing all of those kitchy blankets with the pictures of JFK and RFK surrounding MLK.

Harriet Tubman, the other civil rights icon, was also a Republican.

It’s a funny thing about history. I lived through the MLK era and I didn’t even remember that he was such a hero to the Republicans, or most of the Dems either. Too radical. I know McCain voted against making MLK’s birthday a national holiday, but he is a maverick.

A little misleading. King voted for Ike but in 1956 he was consistent Democratic voter.

I meant to say that after 1956 he was a consistent Democratic voter.

The NAACP was founded by Republicans. Funny how that fact was erased by the Democrats.

In 1948, my grand dad moved to Texas where he registered to vote as a Republican. He was strongly discouraged by the local democrat controlled Board of Elections.

My grand dad asked: “Why? Don’t you have any Republicans in this county?”

He was told: “Oh we have some Republicans here. It is just that you would be the only white Republican.” (He registered Republican anyway, just to spite these bastards.)

Let Obama mites call these folks racists.

Oh, gosh, they'd never ever do that. They would call them Uncle Toms and Aunt Jemimas or maybe Oreos.

Jack and Bobby were dragged kicking and screaming into the civil rights fray and then only because Papa Joe told them it would be good politics.

Jack never made a decision without calling Daddy first.

Black conservatives are some of the most courageous citizens in our beloved nation. I don’t feel I need to expound upon that statement, because every one of us knows that failure to follow “the company line” results in individuals being ostracized and they are bucking a deeply ingrained “company line”.

I pray that our Heavenly Father blesses them with an abundance of His Grace as they attempt to help all Americans, including and especially other black Americans, to improve their lives through conservative principles.

MLK anniversary bump!

“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.’”

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”

“Let freedom ring. And when this happens, and when we allow freedom ring—when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children—black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics—will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: “Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!”

Yes, he said all those things.....but he was about as extreme as Ron Paul in his antiwar views (actually a good thing) and, by 1967, well to the left of Obama on his domestic support for soaking the rich and welfare (a very bad thing).
