(BHO ... the 'H" stands for hubris)

for the libs, just considering doing something or having the intention is just as good as doing it... Clinton was the same way...

Darn, you beat me to it. Probably what a lot of people are thinking.
I wonder if he considered becoming an astronaut and fireman too.
To: Bill Dupray
Was or is he smoking dope?

Really? For which country?
And if this is true, why didn’t this come out in one of his many appearances????
I smell Bravo Sierra.

Took the words out of my mouth!
I imagine that this is his lame attempt to curry favour with military voters or folks who are hawkish. Typical BHO - ham-fisted while being a day late and a dollar short.

Bingo! It’s the thought that counts, even if said thought is an outright lie.

I must have come in late, I missed that part.
I did see him make the usual obeisances to our veterans, proclaiming his love and respect for them, and promising them the sun and moon.
Did you know Hillary once thought of joining the Marines?

This guy counts his summer vacations as foreign policy experience. What a zero.

And David Duke once considered having a black friend.
Gloria Steinham once considered NOT having an abortion.
Al Gore once considered giveing more than $350 per year to charities.
To: Red in Blue PA
Didn’t Hillary Clinton have a similar line— only she wanted to join the Marines?

And if this is true, why didnt this come out in one of his many appearances????
Or in his two books. Afterall, his two biographical works are the foundation of what is known about this dud.

Anyone who believes that ‘spew’ has a screw loose. It’s the same as Hillary ‘ducking for cover” in Kosovo. “I’d have joined, but there wasn’t anyone to fight”...yeah, right

I once thought about applying to Harvard.
In that case, when do I get my damn diploma?
After all, if intentions are all it takes...

"But keep in mind I graduated in 1979. The Vietnam War had come to an end. We weren't engaged in an active military conflict at that point. And so, it's not an option that I ever decided to pursue." oh please! there was plenty going on during the mid 80's... i had a boyfriend who was in the Marines at that time... one of our friends, who was a Marine, was in Lebanon during the bombing of the Marine Barracks in 1983...
