Bill Clinton Blames Dems for Financial Meltdown
The Patriot Room ^ | September 25, 2008 | Bill Dupray

Posted on 09/25/2008 9:29:48 AM PDT by Bill Dupray

How much more proof do we need that Bill Clinton wants to take Obama out? In an interview this morning he says he liked Bush’s “clear” statement last night, knows McCain isn’t postponing the debates because he’s afraid of Obama given that McCain wanted many debates this summer (this was raised twice by Clinton), and then he pins the Fannie and Freddie mess squarely on Congressional Democrats for bucking what he and the Republicans wanted to do to monitor those companies.

Also, is it just me, or does Bubba have the W.C. Fields thing going on in a big way?

No question in my mind. After Obambi played the race card on him and basically slimed him like he is now doing to McCain, I imagine Bill would like nothing more than to see him lose.

Don’t know....but rumors are still out there that Biden will drop out (last I heard was health reasons, but whatever) and Hillary will step in. isn’t possible this late in the game, is it?

Rush was all over this too...it’s ALL the Democrats fault going back to Carter and certainly Clinton. Now that it behooves Bill to pin the tail on his own party, it’s hilarious to hear Madam Pelosi yammering on and on about how it’s “all Bush’s fault”.

I’m just hoping to yet see Bill on TV sporting a PUMA pin. Or better yet, a McCain-Palin one!

And deflect any of the blame from being directed at him for pressuring the banks to loan to unqualified minorities

Not to get too conspiratorial, but is it possible that McCain, Biden and the Clintons have cooked up some sort of deal between them? The uniformed Democrats scuttle USS Obama, and then RINO President McCain provides them with key positions in his administration and then bows out in 2012 letting Hillary go to the front of the line.

Probably not, but it would explain the otherwise inexplicable actions of Biden and Wild Bill.

Send Dodd, too. I'm sure Barney could give Chris some pointers on how to, er, get along in prison. Then again, that might not be punishment enough for Frank... he'll *enjoy* the experience.

Team Clinton has not only thrown 0bama under the bus, but those in the Dem party that gleefully welcomed 0bama as the new "leader" now have a great view of the oil pan too.

Pictures with 0bama after their "lunch meeting" and Bill's tepid "I will campaign for 0bama in the future," made it quite obious that Bill wanted his "throne" back.

You do have to admire Bill Clinton’s consistency. He has always looked out for #1, and he has always played for keeps. The Dems thought those attributes were great when he was in office. They find them less charming this morning.

Whatever else you want to say about him, Bill Clinton is the best player in the game alive today. Of course, no where near as good as Ronnie, but still an extremely skilled politician in his own right.

It just won’t happen....

Most of the Democrats involved with are not only DEMOCRATS, but BLACK Democrats, which is a DOUBLE Get-Out-Of-Jail-Free Media Card!

Jailing them would be RACIST, doncha know!

Hillary will NOT be in the McCain cabinet, but will get something better.

Hillary will become majority leader in the senate. McCain likes to be seen working as a bi-partisan. Hillary will be seen as the leader of the Democrats that is willing to work with a Republican president TO GET THINGS DONE.

That’s what voters want. A leader that puts politics aside and gets things done. Obama will be marginalized as a political hack. Hillary will walk into the 2012 Democratic nomination.

That doesn’t mean McCain is handing Hillary the presidency in 2012, but he in a position to hand her the 2012 Democratic nomination (a pretty good deal considering should couldn’t secure it by herself this time.)

"but is it possible that McCain, Biden and the Clintons have cooked up some sort of deal between them"

Unless someone has a better explanation, this seems entirely possible. McCain's been on the Rat fence for quite some time. At least he's somewhat fiscally conservative, albeit a newly converted populist.

If that was the plan, I don’t think McCain would have picked a VP with as strong of a personality. I think Palin will be a strong contender to run against Hillary when the time comes.

I think Obama has stepped on too many people to get where he is. I think it would be real hard to walk on people to get toward the top and then realize you need the help of the folks you walked on to finish the climb. I think that explains the not really helpful people campaigning for him. I personally think Biden is just stupid and stupid is as stupid does explains his actions as far as I am concerned.

Pelosi’s stupid partisan lies are so transparent, everone can see the wheel (singular) turning in her head. What a moron.

That's cuz Bubba don't take the blame for nuttin

Bubba set up this fiasco by forcing the banks to loan to minorities but it was the dems in congress's fault for not overseeing it correctly

Poetic justice Bubba helps the blacks get unqualified mortgages and sets his office up in Harlem and as his reward he is Race Carded by a brother
