Obama: "I've got a bracelet too"

Obama: "I've got a bracelet too" The bracelet exchange really pulled off Obama's veil.

"I've got a bracelet too".

What a sniveling way to belittle the sacrifice of John McCain and every soldier defending our sovereignty and freedom.

Howie Carr, one of the few journalists who mentioned the bracelet quip, pointed out Obama's frightening foreign policy tack:

For the last hour, McCain bested Obama at almost every turn. Even at the start, McCain mentioned Ted Kennedy’s seizure first, and later he beat him to the punch on global warming while simultaneously dropping Hillary Clinton’s name first. McCain even needled Obama on his presidential seal.

But then McCain called out Barack on his statement that if American troops were threatened, he’d strike Pakistan.

“You don’t do that,” McCain said, sounding like the Godfather. “You don’t say that out loud. If you have to do things, you have to do things.” Such loose cannon statements would increase the likelihood of a terrorist attack preemptive.

After Obama talked about his policy about Afghanistan, McCain pointed out that Obama has never even been there, never spoken to Petreus.

Obama gave Kissinger's blessing to his policy on Iran - making friends with an antisemite who wants to pick up where Hitler left off, but McCain confidently pointed out that Obama was mistaken about Kissinger's approval. Obama incredulously persisted with his hallucination. Kissinger of course corrected Obama in yesterdays press.

Henry Kissinger believes Barack Obama misstated his views on diplomacy with US adversaries and is not happy about being mischaracterized. He says: "Senator McCain is right. I would not recommend the next President of the United States engage in talks with Iran at the Presidential level. My views on this issue are entirely compatible with the views of my friend Senator John McCain. We do not agree on everything, but we do agree that any negotiations with Iran must be geared to reality." Obama's performance was miserable. McCain had him on the defensive all evening.

He better pull his act together and stop referring to McCain as "John" before the next debate. It's not helping his image.

Obama came across like Benito Mussolini, only with less charm and compassion.

God yes, he does remind me of Mussolini. I can’t tell you how many times that has crossed my mind.

Obama came across like Benito Mussolini, only with less charm and compassion.

Or how about a "less informed Hugo Chavez"...

Obama is wearing a bracelt that the mother of the deceased soldier has asked him to stop wearing.

He is a monstrocity to the brave soldiers defending our country, and he is a monstrocity to the nation as a whole.

OBAMA IS IMPLICATED IN THE FINANCIAL CRISIS

NOW WE KNOW WHAT A COMMUNITY ORGANIZER DOES

Obama came across like Benito Mussolini, only with less charm and compassion.

You must have missed the part when Husseine showed his 'softer side'--with his "I have a bracelet, too" moment,,,

when Hussein proudly reached into his 'BOTTOMLESS PIT OF PHONY, MANUFACTURED COMPASSION',,,and did an shameless acting job (that Bogart would have been proud of) pretending to feign support of the troops.

Although he had to look down at the written name of the troops (hey, come on, Hussein is a liberal and we know liberals don't do that type of bracelet-thing),,,

Hussein failed to mention that by his 'GIVING AID-AND-COMFORT TO THE ENEMY DURING TIME OF WAR'--

with his repeated and incessant calls for withdrawal before the job was done--Hussein actually helped prolong the war and cause more soldiers to die,,,,

but, what the hey, he DID at least have a bracelet!!!

Simply amazing that so many of the voting public cannot or refuse to see thru this total fraud.

Has to be blamed totally on the MSM. We could not have dumbed down this much on our own..

Do ya’ll think that this will filter through the conciousness of the people, along with the rudeness exhibited by 0 and affect this election, like with AlGore?

I seem to recall that his sighing was not factored in after that debate until about a week later, the media ignored it.

Funeral services will be held Monday in Merrill for Ryan David Jopek, a sergeant with the Antigo and Merrill-based National Guard unit who was killed while serving in Iraq.

Sgt. Jopek, 20, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006 from a roadside bomb in Tikrit, Iraq. He was a member of Troop E 105th Cavalry, based in Antigo and Merrill. The unit was mobilized to Iraq on June 6, 2005 as part of the Appleton-based 2nd Battalion, 127th Infantry and is scheduled to return home later this month.

Sgt. Ryan D. Jopek

Born June 1, 1986 in Alliance, Neb. he was a son of Tracy (Smith) Jopek of Merrill and Brian Jopek of Antigo. He graduated from Merrill High School in 2004.

Sgt. Jopek followed in his father's footsteps and joined the Wisconsin Army National Guard in August, 2003 as a scout assigned to Troop E, 105th Calvary. In Iraq, the unit was responsible for providing convoy security.

Sgt. Jopek was the recipient of the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and Army Commendation medals. Additional medals include Good Conduct, National Defense Service, Iraqi Campaign, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary and Service, and the Armed Forces Reserve with "M" Device. He also received the Overseas Service Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon and the Combat Action Badge. He was promoted to the rank of sergeant posthumously.

He enjoyed playing basketball, soccer, golf and football. He was also interested in music, monster trucks, airplanes, and his 1966 Chevrolet half-ton pick-up truck, which he planned to restore.

Sgt. Jopek was an avid Chicago Bears fan and his family said he modeled his life after his childhood hero, the legendary Bear running back Walter Payton. He loved all of his many friends and family.

In addition to his parents, survivors include a sister, Jessica Jopek of Merrill; a brother, Steven Jopek, Merrill; maternal grandparents, Donald and Carrie Smith of Bayard, Neb.; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Peg Jopek of Antigo; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Merrill High School Field House. Rev. Robert Smallman and Rev. Charles Hoffmann will officiate.

Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the Merrill National Guard Armory.
