My Dad wrote this Open Letter to Congress that I share with my fellow FReepers.
If you like it and have a "google account" I am sure he would appreciate your feedback on his new blog.

They need to assure the American people that THEY know why this crisis happened and that THEY know HOW and WHY that this $700B of taxpayer money will fix it, and fix it for good They don't and they can't. Paulson has no clue.

Citizens of every state need to call their representatives back from Washington. When they are receiving calls where 90% voice disapproval of this action they are taking, and they completely ignores us, it is time to exercise our constitutional rights to bring them back from Washington so they cannot make this monumental war against the US taxpayer and our domestic economy. Because it is economic war they are waging now, and it is against US.
To: palmer
They should send the money to the taxpayers. Taxpayers would do a better job.

There is no money. They are creating new money to cover the debt. That means what is in your wallet is worth less.

Considering it will be borrowed from China, I think we should just call the whole thing off.
