The Associated Press has now officially jumped aboard the Obama bus. In a seemingly ridiculous proposition, they claim that Sarah Palin talking about Obama “palling around” with his terrorist buddy Bill Ayers is the equivalent to making a racist comment about Obama. Really.

And though she may have scored a political hit each time, her attack was unsubstantiated and carried a racially tinged subtext that John McCain himself may come to regret.
Racially tinged? Perhaps no one bothered to tell this misguided writer, Douglass K. Daniel, that Ayers is white. And what’s with the author’s first name? Does he really want all the world to know he is an ass?
Here is how this nutcase makes his convoluted charge.
Palin’s words avoid repulsing voters with overt racism. But is there another subtext for creating the false image of a black presidential nominee “palling around” with terrorists while assuring a predominantly white audience that he doesn’t see their America?
Lessee… Obama has a long history of “palling around” with Ayers. His first political campaign BEGAN at Ayers’ house. And his terrorist wife, Bernadine Dohrn, worked with Michelle Obama way back in 1988. In fact Michelle ended up taking Bernadine’s job when she left Sidney Austin. Racism is 0 and his wife the epitome of. It’s long been obvious that whites are racist and all others have a free pass. The MSM knows and practices this “knowledge” well.
Hell, even Gwen Ifill played the race card.
Her response to criticism that she should have informed the debate committee about her book was that it was an attack because of her race.
Falling back on race will backfire big time for Nobama.

In a sane society I would buy that premise, however, these voters today are intoxicated with Obamania. Facts are absolutely irrelevant and the constant harping by the MSM keeps them convinced that these are false and unwaranted attacks.

I don’t know if it will do much good, but I just sent a complaint letter to the Associated Press (This is their comment email):
I feel that people should make their voices heard about how the AP should be reporting facts and not distorting facts. I complained about Douglass K. Daniel’s article “Analysis: Palin’s words carry racial tinge.” I asked them to be more responsible and issue an apology.
“You’re looking at a coup in progress, and how it is acted out will determine our future and our freedom.”
My sense is that when the election is over and if indeed they pull off this coup, all those deaths of our blessed freedom fighters will have been in vain. As a former member of the military it makes me nauseous to see this unfolding before our very eyes. Obama and his ilk care not for what America stands but for what they what it to stand for, i.e. a nation that embraces Islam.
