In this one minute, 38 second video, we get to see Mu’ammar Qadafi, the Muslim Libyan dictator who ordered the mass murder known as the 1988 bombing of Pan-Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland endorse Barack Hussein Obama for President of the United States. This video was originally shown on the Muslim propaganda network, Al-Jazeera on June 11, 2008. In 1988, after America suffered many casualties from a long string of Muslim terror activities fomented by Libyan leader Mu’ammar Qaddafi, President Reagan bombed Libya. Called Operation El Dorado Canyon, the U.S. raids targeted specific sites, including Qaddafi’s house, and killed 60 people, including Qaddafi’s adopted four-year-old daughter. Barack Hussein Obama can lie through his teeth and deny his Muslim roots, but it’s what people perceive that matters. And if Muslims perceive Barack Hussein Obama to be Muslim, then hey, who are we to argue? Flight Pan Am 103, bound from London to New York, blew up in midair over Lockerbie, Scotland, on Dec. 21, 1988. Eleven people on the ground and 259 people on the plane were killed. Pan Am 103 - yet another Islamofascist terrorist act, this one sponsored by Libya. Dennis Prager reminded us in 2003 about the horror of Muslim terrorism. The world is not, by and large, a good place. And the United Nations, which reflects the world, reflects that fact. That is why Libya, a police state that ordered the mass murder known as the 1988 bombing of Pan-Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, is not only on the U.N. Human Rights Commission, it is the head of the commission. And Syria, which is worse than Libya, judges us on the Security Council.

My opinion is that he is a Muslim.

His recitation of the shahada to the New York Times (Obama: Man of the World) in perfect Arabic and then stating that it was the prettiest sound on earth clearly show him to be one to me:

He once got in trouble for making faces during Koran study classes in his elementary school, but a president is less likely to stereotype Muslims as fanatics — and more likely to be aware of their nationalism — if he once studied the Koran with them.
Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”

Think about it this way: would you recite the shahada?

Even to save your life?

This is a subject that has come up many times in history. When Islamic fanatics are slaughtering people, people have saved themselves by reciting the shahada. A recent incident is found at [Khobar Rampage:] "Don't Be Afraid, We Won't Kill Muslims". The shahada is even included at the end:

The murderers separated Christians from Muslims by requiring each hostage to recite a verse from the Koran. Those who could not were shot.
In all these cases, non-Muslims facing jihadists could have saved themselves by passing as Muslims.
There are several ways they could have done this. They might have greeted their potential murderers with Assalamu ‘alaykum (which, ironically, means "peace be with you"). They might have recited in Arabic the Shahada, the Islamic statement of faith. Or they might have recited in Arabic the first sura (chapter) of the Koran, the essential prayer of Islam called the Fatiha ("Opening").
In the past, such knowledge would have saved lives. It could probably do so again in the future.

Here is the text of the Shahada, the Islamic statement of faith, in a Latin-letter transliteration of the original Arabic and in translation:

Ashadu an la ilaha illa-llah Wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan rasul-Ullah
I testify that there is no divinity but God And I testify that Muhammad is the prophet of God

Would you recite that? I wouldn't, not to save my life.

Yet Senator Obama publicly recites it, and calls it the prettiest sound in the world. That's a mighty odd phrase, and I think that it was a clear act of al-mahabbah, a a public demonstration of his love for the shahada.

Senator Obama clearly understands the import of reciting it from his Koranic classes, and remembers his lessons well enough to repeat it in perfect Arabic. His public recitation can only have one meaning, and it is that Mr. Obama is a Muslim.
