Claim: Obama's "birth certificate" forged with sister Maya's original By Israel Insider staff August 5, 2008
Independent analysts, working separately, claim to have discovered that the original Hawaiian Certificate of Live Birth used in the fabrication of the Barack Obama "birth certificate" belongs to the Presidential candidate's younger half-sister, Maya.
Examining the high resolution image originally posted by the "Daily Kos" left-wing blog and subsequently claimed as authentic by the campaign, and posted in lower resolution on the campaign official "Fight the Smears" website, at least two analysts have been able to independently discern the name "Maya Kassandra Soetoro" from artifacts left behind in the process of forging a new fake document for Barack from an image of Maya's original document. Additional confirmatory information, such as her birthday and the nationality of her father have also been resurrected. A full report documenting all details is to be published in the coming days. Israel Insider has not yet seen proof that would validate the claim.

Well according to Mr. Know It All, it really doesn’t matter. Factcheck.org says it’s true, case closed.
So then what’s your opinion on this lawsuit filed by Democrat lawyer Berg in Philly? It hasn’t been thrown out.Courts are reluctant to throw things out. Most judges would rather err on the side of giving people their day in court. A ruling on this is probably worth more than just throwing it out.

It would appear everything needed to prove if it is a forgery is in the picture. Since this type of document is a matter of public record just request the document from the state. the date of filing and the record number are both on the scanned image.

We have evolved past the need for proof, especially with someone so important as The One needing to be in charge. We cannot allow mere rules to get in His way.
Interesting how the background is all discolored around the letters in his name...It is interesting. It's an artifact of vector quantizing lossy compression algorithms. Compression systems such as JFIF will unavoidably have distortion around sharp edges due to the nature of discrete cosine transforms. Interesting stuff, indeed.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m understanding that if only one parent is a citizen, then you have dual citizenship, and at some point in time or age have to declare your allegiance to one or the other country.
But the other factor here is that Obama was adopted by Luo Sotero and thus became an Indonesian citizen, losing his American citizenship. Watch the Berg video; it explains it more clearly.

Persons born in the United States, and persons born on foreign soil to two U.S. parents, are born American citizens and are classified as citizens at birth under 8 USC 1401.
Was barry's father a US citizen at the time of his birth? If not, it sure looks like 'ol barry is not qualified.

That may be the point. What if she was the one born in Hawaii and he in Indonesia instead of Kenya?
Maybe I’m missing something, but that seems more likely. Then date and name are the only issue with the certificate.
To avoid the habitation clause, Cheney quickly switched his home address to Wyoming. The problem is that if you or I had done so, we would not have been legally able to claim Wyoming residency. I think you have to live there 6 months or something.
I don't know what the exact ruling was, but I think the argument was that Cheney was "politically" from Wyoming, having been their Congressmen for several years. It would have been weird if the court had taken a more narrow view. We would have had Lieberman as Bush's VP.
There is plenty of evidence that Obama was born in Hawaii just as he says. Although it is a popular debate tactic here, insisting, "That proves nothing!" doesn't actually work in a courtroom.
Violence, in addition to being criminal, will be counter-productive.
