Why John McCain is Losing

It’s not the economy. Sure – if the economy was better, it would be good for Republicans. Everybody knows that, which is why the McCain campaign could never bet too many chips on the economy as part of a winning formula. Sure, the Democrats – including Barack Obama and Joe Biden – did cause the financial industry meltdown but what does it matter? There is a Republican in the White House and it’s easier to imagine that presidents rule with magic wands than to learn the basics of the American democratic system, let alone learn the modern history of financial industry regulation. It may be just luck of the draw but if the McCain campaign banks on pulling far enough ahead on the economy to win he will lose.

If McCain wants to win, he needs to sound more like Sarah Palin, and less like “reach across the aisle” John McCain.

McCain/Palin are losing because the MSM is in the tank. No bad news for Neobama allowed and false hysteria about M/P generated.

I’m suprised we win any elections at all. It just goes to show you that the US is basically conservative and when giving ALL the facts, go that way 4 times out of 5.

McCain is coming across to his already skeptical supporters as not having the will to fight ... he seems to be conceding defeat by not being more aggressive in his attacks on his opponent. No mas McCain ...

John McCain is losing because there is no John McCain.

They need to tie Obama to Reid and Pelosi. Reid and Pelosi are more toxic than Bush.

Do you think he is taking behind-the-scenes advice from Dole?

Why John McCain is Losing

Well, I suspect it's because sadly, the nation is going socialist/marxist.

It's because the two parties have gone socialist / Marxist and that doesn't appeal to traditional Republican voters.

I agree.

The MSM is covering for 0bama, and so the public isn’t hearing the truth about:

1. Associations with Ayers, Rezko, Wright, Alinsky, etc....
2. Association with ACORN & ACORN’s racketeering activity in voter fraud.
3. Association of bribery by Fannie & Freddy, and the ties of former execs of same w/ 0bama campaign.
4. Foreign cash pouring into campaign coffers in amounts less than $200, but in volume transactions.

Yes, the playing field is not level and the refs have been bribed. That’s why McCain is losing.

And since everybody’s heard that already and it’s had whatever effect it’s going to have on the way people vote, if any - it’s currently more because McCain isn’t hitting issues broadly enough. He’s too much of a Democrat to have a complete campaign running as a Republican.
